So basically, what I've learned these past few days in the NHL is bet against the teams which really need the games and bet on the teams who are going home in a few days. Makes perfect sense.

can't verify this, but was told that betting UConn ML each game and rolling it over would have paid 210-1.

UConn's money lines:
-240 vs. St. Joe's
+165 vs. Villianova
-105 vs. Iowa St.
+220 vs. Michigan St.
+300 vs. Florida
+125 vs. Kentucky

No shtick...that's ridiculous. Would take huge stones to do it, but makes hitting the future look like chump change.

 
Giguere in net for the Avs @ EDM. He's ranked 54th in the NHL in SV%, he hasn't played in 21 days, and he gave up five goals vs. Montreal in that one. Oilers are home and have played well of late, beating Phoenix and Anaheim in their last two. Colorado has lost 5 of 6 and three in a row at Rexall Place.

I didn't wanna tail your Wings bet cause I didn't want to jinx the ice. I actually already played Edmonton before you posted so while we'll both be rooting it won't be cause I tailed. I just want to see those effing Avs lose cause of the Pens bet.

 
I never had an appreciation for just how great Datsyuk is. Everything he does is effortless. Even tonight, he draws a holding call on a nothing 1-on-2 play heading to the crease. Just little things I never noticed. Hope he's fully healthy after missing all that time.

You couldn't tail my Wings bet because I didn't have time to post it. ;)

The puck dropped at 7:05 and I believe I got the bet in at 7:04. Anyway, taking a -225 favorite isn't exactly a stroke of genius.

Anyone looked at CFB futures at all. With the playoff this year, it could open the door for an undefeated team from a lower conference to have a legit shot.
