Wanna hear a quick "One for the good guys" (for once!) story?

After 5 innings, the Dodgers were leading the Rockies 2-1. Both pitchers were sailing along, and it was starting to rain very hard. Played u7 live pretty big. Of course, in the top of the next inning, De La Rosa gives up a 1400-foot HR to Ramirez, and then two straight walks, and then a kid who had NO MAJOR LEAGUE HITS brings them both in with a double, and then he gets singled in. Four runs in the blink of an eye.... 6-1 L.A.

Then the skies opened up. Rain delay for almost two hours. They took the tarp off but deemed the playing field too dangerous.

Better than any WIN I can recall. :banned:

I think they appreciate that I don't sit on my balance until the withdrawals are processed. I give them a fair chance every night to get some of their money back.

 
That can't be right. Russia had to be a WAY bigger favorite vs. the USA that day. People would have bet their house on the USSR -350. They had beaten us by like 8 goals before the Olympics began.

Found two sources that both list +1750, who knows how legit any of this is. That does sound closer to what it should be.

Cameroon is +1600 to beat Brazil, so that's a bit closer. Iran is also +1800 to beat Argentina.

 
Miracle game was in the US and there was the whole Cold War background plus Russia was a team of pros who played together for years while the US was a team of college kids who were together for a couple months. Not sure anything could compare regardless of the odds.
