Colts v NFC since 2012

The Colts are 5-3 SU, 5-3 ATS, and 6-2 O/U versus the NFC since 2012.

The average line in those games was Colts +4.

This will be the second time the Colts have been lined the favorite versus the NFC since 2012.

The average halftime score in those games was Colts 9.8 Opponent 19.4.

The Colts lost the three games by SU margins of -20,-30,-29.

The over went 6-0 in games that the Colts trailed at the half.

I can see why the Colts get the love here. They went 7-2 SU and 5-3-1 ATS at home last season against an average line of -3.8. This is going to be a fun night, just to be able to watch a game. I have watched about four football games since the season started, NCAA included. Such a weird bet, but I also like the Eagles side as a 2Q bet - just something that keeps popping up, but who the hell bets that.

Since 2012 NFC teams playing their second consecutive regular-season game versus the AFC are 23-13 SU, 21-14-1 ATS (avg line -2.5), and 25-10-1 O/U. link
In that same situation as the underdog they are 8-2 SU, 9-1 ATS (avg line 5.0), and 9-1 O/U (9-0 O/U L9). link

For anyone backing the Colts, they play the Jags next week but nothing in recent history suggests they fall off with a look-ahead to a division opponent. And have actually had some good recent performances in that spot.

Eagles are 0-15 on the Road vs AFC Teams that made the Playoffs previous year (good teams) . If you count the SB .. They're 0-16

The Eagles haven't won a Road Game vs a AFC team that made the Playoffs in 23 years ...Monday Night 1991

Philly plays division rival WAS next week in what is probably the two best teams in that division. Anything on that angle?

3-2 SU and ATS last season in the weeks before playing NFC East.

0-6 SU and ATS in the same situation in 2012.

I always like to back a team that desperately needs a win. Colts lose this game, they fall to 0-2, and two games behind the texans. Eagles don't have to win this game, i think the Colts HAVE to win.

so i am putting all my cookies on the ML.

Colts

1.5 units to win 1.

The spot where an eagle landed told the ancient Aztecs the place where they were to build a city. However, Samuel Colt was born in Hartford which is, are you ready for this...also a city.

Plus they are at home. that is also part of the equation.

Andrew Luck (13-3 at home) has yet to lose two NFL games in a row. Eagles generally suck against the AFC(especially on the road) and their OL is beat up.

Colts -155 ML

I only see 3 IDP props listed tonight at my books. Have a lean towards the overs because the Indy crew gives out lots of assists generally, and the Eagles fast paced offense should create lots of opportunities for both sides. But, I think the lines are set pretty well for the players they offered.

I'm playing Fletcher Cox O3.5 tackles (-115) since the number is low and Trent Richardson will probably run right into him at least 4 times tonight.

put a little on Ryans O7.5 and Landry O7 just for action mostly but 8 tackles to win feels like a high number for both.

 Made me laugh. How that guy is still getting 15+ touches is incredible.

hopefully not much anymore the line was so low on him too. It opened at 44.5 and dropped to 42.5. I did take a little on under 55.5 rush+rec too

I don't understand pep. Offense is so predictable until they get down two scores and let luck loose.

:goodposting: Should I just go ahead and bet Luck o 140.5 2h yards right now?
