FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

I'm going in on Thatch tonight. In Colorado, he's from Colorado, I loved Colorado when I lived there, and I happened to fill up a growler of some IPA from Colorado earlier today. It's all making sense.

this is one of those cards where finding a fighter with a good camp, or from the area is a good idea. The altitude where they are looks to be pretty impactful, you see guys gas and toast by the 2nd round who usually are real good in conditioning

On Marvosky -115 so far for UFC, others i like just have to get to it......
1-0 firstround
Second round to close to call. Makovsky is 6-0 on takedowns but hasn't done much with them, at least in round 2
yeah. Tim Elliot is more fun to watch, but Zach should have this 2-0 and is cruising in rd. 3. Not a fight to win him many fans, but technically just putting on a clinic

Limits at rb

50k/1500

10k/500

7.5k/300

5k/200

3k/150

0/0

A few slow pays in there, a big one after the super bowl a few years ago(15k) and then one recently which went bad. Kurt and I had a disagreement about my envelope being $200 light and he just cut me off. Kind of a relief....I'd guess I'm down 25k+ with rb.

I think there was an ownership change because credit/limits got super tight over the last year. When he first started I had no trouble getting 1500 limits and plenty of credit. Last fall I asked for a bump to 500 limits and couldn't get it even after 1.5 years of no slowpays.

Kurt has been pretty good with me over the past few months/years. Let me get down some extra bets this past Super Bowl for a few extra K. I don't need anymore than $500 max though so I guess that's where we may differ. $500 max and 10k limit is good for me as I have a few more local outs.

Never any slow pays either way, but I haven't paid Kurt in a long time.

Same

No complaints, although I never win to receive money anyway.

I do have some good buds set up with him that bet bigger though.

I love RB.

so henderson is fighting 15 lbs heavier in 2 weeks?
he probably gets close to 160-165 for the fight night. But yeah, thatch is considerably bigger
Would guess that Thatch will have close to 25 lbs on Henderson tonight as well as a reach and size advantage. Fully expect Thatch put Henderson in the clinch and walk right through him with knees. Henderson backers would be better off taking long shot fliers for a 4th or 5th round finish if Bendo can indeed use his speed to stay out of trouble the first two rounds and try to put away Thatch late who may wear down. But I think the surprise of the fight will be that Thatch has the cardio advantage as well.

is thatch a top level fighter?
He is a top level striker but does not have a true "quality" win yet in or out of the UFC. He may struggle against strong wrestlers and hasn't been tested deep yet but has no glaring weaknesses and deserves headliner billing for a fight night card or co-main on a PPV.

Marcus Mariota was -140 to be drafted ahead of Jameis Winston only a week ago. Now Winston is listed at -225 to be selected 1st. (BetOnline)
I can happily say I was ahead of the curve on this one and I endource the move. Kids a punk, but I think he will make a good pro.
