FFOC $1,000,000 (2 Viewers)

Would love to see some more postings from those of you in your LCG
I'm in two LCGs, had Royal and J Lewis starting in one last night, so off and running in that league. My other league I am in 142nd overall and playing the number 2 who is actually higher than that at 49th overall. There's not much else to say besides the fact that I keep going back and forth on who to play this week.

Playing for the championship in league #3. I have a 16-2 record but only rank in the 500's so I don't think I'll get very far if I win but hey, a league title is a league title.

My final roster:

QB: Donovan McNabb, David Garrard, Matt Schaub

RB: LaDainian Tomlinson, Ronnie Brown, Michael Turner, Kevin Faulk, Darren Sproles

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Laveranues Coles, Santana Moss, Donnie Avery, Kevin Walter

TE: Jason Witten, Greg Olsen, Marcedes Lewis

PK: Mason Crosby, Rian Lindell

TD: Chicago Bears

I'm in 1. Both of us are pretty much running on E for the big game. For QBs, I'm starting only Matt Ryan (Romo, Roethlisberger, D Anderson), he's got Frerotte (Palmer, Flacco)It wouldn't surprise me at all if neither of us broke 100. No Broncos or Browns.

I'm in one. Nothing really to say, except I believe I have some difficult matchups with week. Would be happy to just win it and collect the $250, don't think I have a legit shot at anything else.

Would be in another but Campbell had to throw that INT at the end of the pitt game last monday.

We'll see I'm up 7-0 right now after Prater last night.l

My roster for the LCG:

QB Drew Brees

RB Adrian Peterson

RB Kevin Smith

WR Plaxico Burress

WR Bernard Berrian

WR Vincent Jackson

TE Anthony Fasano

OP Matt Ryan

K Jason Elam

TDSP Chicago Bears

I have TJ Housh, Santana Moss and Romo on byes. I'm hoping that if I can get through this game, I can make a nice run when my main WR's and Romo come bck. Here's hoping.

Finished tied for 1st at 16-2, 98th overall.

Our roster will most likely be:

QB: Brees

RB: MJD, L White (Bush expected to be out)

WR: Megatron, Roddy, Bowe/Hines (depends on Ben)

TE: Daniels

Flex: Peyton Manning

K: Josh Brown

TDSP: Philly

Going up against a team that has a bunch of Week 10 byes:

QB: Ben (with Romo on bye, him not playing would really make it tough for him as he's the only other QB he's got)

RB: Chris Johnson, Hightower (MBIII, Graham on bye)

WR: Cotchery, Desean Jackson, Avery (Holmes on bench)

TE: Gonzalez

Flex: Santana Moss

K: Suisham

TDSP: Carolina (Tampa on bye)

It's should be a good matchup. As I posted before, we knew from the day this guy drafted that we would probably see him i the Championship game and the byes could be enough to kill him.

Would that be League 10.........I got into the Championship game with Cambell's INT :excited:

My bro and I are in two league championships.....#381 and #388 14-4 in both.

Limped in with one team where we were patching together a team after Romo, Bush, Jackson, Chambers injuries this year. Here is the ragtag lineup Rodgers, MMoore, BenJarvus, Andre Johnson, Chambers, Camarillo, Dal Clark, Trent Edwards, Gostkowski, Green Bay.

The other team has held up pretty well and ironically we are playing the team with Romo/Bush combo like we had in the other league. Warner, ADP, Turner, Fitzgerald, Wayne, Holmes, Dal Clark, Lendale, Gostkowski, Cardinals.

Hopefully we will be able to move on in one.

so how do you see what game your in? if we are third do we sit this week?
If memory serves me right, I do believe the only two teams playing in week 10 are 1 and 2.
This is at the top of your league page.....Please be sure to set your lineups for Thursday, 11/6 games! Even if you are not in a Championship game for your league, your Week 10 point total counts toward your playoff scoring average!

Looks like I'm gonna win my league championship. Up by 50 with Fitz still going tomorrow. Unless Frank Gore score 8 TDs tomorrow,I should be all good

Our roster remained the same. He ended up taking out DJax and putting in Holmes (bad) and taking out Avery and putting in Lance Moore (good). Also took out Moss (forgot he was on a bye when I posted his potential lineup) and put in Mewelde Moore (great move). He had to keep Suisham in his lineup as he didn't have another K (poor). All of this has my team up 25.1 heading into tonight with him only having Hightower remaining. Obviously that is not an insurmountable lead. The key to us winning was that second half of Indy/Pitt. It really couldn't have gone any better for us considering we had Peyton and he had 3 Steelers. If we do go on to win, I think I'll have to owe it to fellow Rutgers alum Eric Foster for that ridiculous stick of Moore on his 3rd try from the goalline. Let's see how it goes. GL to everyone else who will be sweating tonight out.

1-1, unless fitz and boldin combine for -2 pts, then i lose both. Or, in a slightly less likely scenario, Rackers outscores Hightower and Fitz by 15 pts. Then I go 2-0.

N.E. Nerds league #29 scored 108 points

Looks like I'll win despite pulling zeroes at 3 positions (kicker on bye, Chris Chambers, Isaac Bruce.) Gonzo, MJD, and Jacobs saved me, along with LT and Rogers being subpar for my opponent.

ETA: Bruce on the board for 1.2pts.

Took the L after a monster season in my one and only league. Was in the top 100 overall most of the year, top 50 for half the year. Ran into a juggernaut. Still like my pts/game for the 1st and 10 though, lets see how it plays out...

Won League #3 Championship (not expecting too much next week).

Down to the wire tonight.I'm up by 4.3 points with Frank Gore to play........he has Fitzgerald.Playing for 250 cash, let's go Gore!!
Hey, I won! Won by a little more than 4 points as Fitz and Gore almost had identical points. Gratz to all those that competed and for those who still have a shot at some larger sums of money, let's go get it!

I won lg#265 this wk 134-84.

Has anyone found updated LV Bracket standings yet?

Was wondering how far back 119.48 ave for w1-9 combined with 134 pts wk10 puts me.

I came into the week ranked 104 in pts so I'm hoping to go up some.

A Dextor team is prob the new #1 ranked entry with 127.04 ave and a huge 189.18 pts last week. He came into the week ranked #6.

Now it's about surviving cuts each week for a few wks.

Gluck to everyone in the LV Bracket.

Found an answer to my own question for anyone interested...From the FFOC boards:11 Chad S (Cocktails & Dreams) - Chad is pretty much a professional gambler / fantasy sports player.I've seen him playing CDM Sports games for years among other games and done very well. He's in the CDM Sports Hall of Fame at least 3 times from 3 different sports. i.e. Hall of Fame status earned when you win a major fantasy sports contest with CDM.7 Donald T 5 Stephen R4 Randy B3 Tony C3 Jeff C

Anyone have more than 1 entry alive in the LV Bracket?

It was me you beat. Nice season. Bulger's .6 points, and Chris Johnson's 2.3 absolutely KILLED me. Romo hurt me the last month, and Hasslebeck hurt me all year. (took him for my Flex) I didn't leave ANY points on my bench, so I can't really complain too much. Your team did what they needed to, and mine took the week off. Good luck in the Vegas bracket!

thanks man! your team was the most consistent throughout the season, i was lucky just to be in that match up :goodposting:

No Cassel for my LVB team is like starting out a 10+ point underdog in wk11.

Here's hoping this lineup can stay alive another week or 2...

McNabb Cutler

Wbrook DeA Williams (or MJD)

Owens Boldin S Moss

Daniels

Akers

BUF dt

I lost my championship game by .2 points when Hightower lost 4 yards on his last carry. I had Warner, Gore, and Hightower going in the game, so a number of plays could have won it back for me, including the pass to Gore that hit the umpire...Brutal.

Our division was pretty solid overall. Pretty solid drafting throughout our league. Nobody really had one of those teams that was unbeatable, like some divions had. The even distribution of talent will hurt all of us down the road becasue we won't have the huge avg to start with that some leagues will have.

Still alive in LVB #196 or so. Barely survived the cut this week - needed the BUF return TD to sneak by and scored sub 100 pts.

The cut is quickly going to rise to 110, 120+ so while some of the top teams will be eliminated the remaining ones will still keep their wk10-15 averages over 130.

Will be very tough if I survive a few more cuts to make up that kinda average.

We needed a typical game out of Brees to get past the cut line. Thanks Drew.
:goodposting: Having Cassel and Brees has carried me through the first two weeks of LV Bracket play. :popcorn:Cut line is going to dramatically increase this week, IMO.

We went Peyton/Brees with our first two picks, and getting MJD/Bush (relatively) late ended up being big, but not having Bush these last few weeks made it tough. We came really close to starting Leon Washington over Fargas, and while he had a nice game even without scoring, if not putting Leon in the lineup ended up being what got us cut, it would've hurt a lot.

Hopefully Bush comes back strong. Good luck to everyone still rolling -- we're at 222 of 281 now.

Thats kind of how we ended up doing it. Went Brady/Brees 1 and 2 and then paired them with mjd/jacobs/calvin which has carried us on those down weeks. When Brady went down we spent half our blind bidding dollars out of principal on Matt Cassel. You have to have 2 legit QBs to throw out there for a big week. Cassel has just happen to come on hot at the right time. I still wonder what we would have looked like with brady/brees.

We went through and figured out that only 6 other teams left have the Peyton/Brees combo so hopefully they stay hot  .

Anyone else still in? I had a ####ty night watching on Thursday when I benched Westbrook and the Titans D, but ended up with 130 pts and made it through.

Went down last week thanks to starting the CAR D and its -4 over Minny D and its 22.My team celebrated by scoring 179 this week.

They (well, Peyton) didn't, and we're out. Bush not having an impact also hurt us. Still had a great time and made a couple bucks extra along the way. Will be looking forward to next year (when it will surely be a much larger contest). Good luck to all those still in.
