Stephen Drew - Somehow, this guy keeps getting contracts. In the video linked, he's getting blown away by a Kluber 94 mph fastball. With a $5MM contract ($7MM with incentives!), the Yankees will probably trot him out there most days. This despite a 162/237/299 line and 75 Ks in 275 ABs last year. I know catcher is super deep in this format, but he's got 2 straight years as a top 10 hitter in this thing, and in 2013 he did it in only 256 AB.
Also since I'm a Tigers fan, getting a bunch of White Sox to root against is a homer move.

Mark has logged over 200 innings in each season since 2001. In that time, he has developed a reputation for consistency, highlighted by leading the league in hits allowed four times and appearing the top 10 of hits allowed 11 times. His 3,258 hits allowed are the most for any active pitcher and rank 98th on the all-time list. But Mark does much more than just allow hits. He is also the active leader in losses (152), reaching double-digit losses 10 times in his career. His 5.3 K/9 rate proved to be one of the lowest in all of baseball last season, adding more value to his already impressive skill set. His selection to the 2014 American League All-Star roster and handsome contract should assure us of another 200+ innings from the south paw. He'll anchor our staff nicely.

Boasting a career 5.16 ERA and 1.4 HR/9 rate, Hector (pictured here wondering where it all went wrong) has all the makings of a solid Gobbler. He was able to convince the Mariners, Rangers and White Sox to allow him to pitch enough to log 172.1 innings last season, which is an impressive feat in itself. He's slated to begin the spring with a shot to hold down the White Sox's coveted No. 5 starter role, and even if he misses on it he should provide value as a long reliever and spot starter. Welcome aboard, Hector. We're really excited about your potential.
