Nice work, fellas.

Heads up - Unless I'm an idiot (which is completely likely), I don't see a projection for Sidney Rice, WR Vikings.

Looks like I had the wrong player ID for Edwards and Rice. I'll get those fixed up here soon. Thanks for the heads up.

Awesome work.

I searched google earlier this week for some projections and found nothing. You guys are on the ball.

The calculated FP looks like it might be off for a few. I'm looking into it still. Peyton's FP doesn't jive with his projection unless I'm doing something wrong.

It uses 6pt for TD, -2 for ints I believe.
I thought standard FBG scoring was 4 pts. per passing TD and -1 for each INT. Here is what I have for the top 33 QBs. Sorry that I don't know how to format, but the second to last column is the site's FP and the last column is what I calculated.1 Tom Brady NE / 4 360 547 4365 8 41 12 38 84 2.2 1 454.6 384.72 Peyton Manning IND / 4 336 519 4036 7.8 30 10 22 26 1.2 3 382.4 332.43 Tony Romo DAL / 10 321 505 4048 8 33 20 32 106 3.3 1 377 331.04 Drew Brees NO / 9 370 562 4148 7.4 26 15 29 49 1.7 1 344.3 307.35 Ben Roethlisberger PIT / 6 273 432 3421 7.9 27 16 34 133 3.9 2 326.4 288.46 Carson Palmer CIN / 8 341 529 3872 7.3 27 17 28 34 1.2 0 325 288.07 Jay Cutler DEN / 8 299 480 3475 7.2 22 17 41 180 4.4 1 295.8 268.88 Matt Hasselbeck SEA / 4 293 480 3379 7 24 15 28 96 3.4 0 292.6 259.69 Eli Manning NYG / 4 302 532 3431 6.4 24 18 29 53 1.8 1 290.9 260.910 Donovan McNabb PHI / 7 276 453 3232 7.1 20 9 43 195 4.5 1 289.1 258.111 David Garrard JAX / 7 252 398 2995 7.5 20 9 55 242 4.4 2 287.9 257.012 Derek Anderson CLE / 5 241 425 3121 7.3 24 19 26 55 2.1 2 279.6 250.613 Aaron Rodgers GB / 8 290 475 3495 7.4 19 16 36 133 3.7 1 276.1 254.114 Philip Rivers SD / 9 283 466 3292 7.1 22 14 33 36 1.1 0 272.2 242.215 Jon Kitna DET / 4 320 510 3710 7.3 19 20 22 57 2.6 1 271.2 253.216 Vince Young TEN / 6 267 428 2917 6.8 14 16 88 466 5.3 4 268.4 256.517 Jake Delhomme CAR / 9 280 457 3305 7.2 20 14 23 44 1.9 1 267.6 241.718 Jason Campbell WAS / 10 269 445 3001 6.7 18 13 42 207 4.9 1 258.8 235.819 Marc Bulger STL / 5 266 445 3023 6.8 16 14 12 18 1.5 0 220.9 203.020 Matt Schaub HOU / 8 251 385 2866 7.4 16 14 24 84 3.5 0 219.7 201.721 Jeff Garcia TB / 10 222 356 2553 7.2 14 7 38 144 3.8 1 218.1 197.122 Tarvaris Jackson MIN / 8 213 364 2491 6.8 13 15 61 289 4.7 2 213.4 202.523 Trent Edwards BUF / 6 235 403 2678 6.6 16 14 24 77 3.2 0 209.6 191.624 JaMarcus Russell OAK / 5 254 440 2886 6.6 15 18 24 34 1.4 1 207.7 195.725 Matt Leinart ARI / 7 214 378 2552 6.8 14 16 30 81 2.7 2 199.7 187.726 Rex Grossman CHI / 8 191 350 2268 6.5 12 14 19 23 1.2 0 159.7 149.727 Kellen Clemens NYJ / 5 182 313 2061 6.6 10 11 29 109 3.8 1 157.9 149.028 Alex Smith SF / 9 161 275 1855 6.7 9 11 19 65 3.4 1 137.2 130.329 Chris Redman ATL / 7 128 215 1402 6.5 14 10 14 18 1.3 0 135.9 117.930 Kurt Warner ARI / 7 126 200 1500 7.5 10 6 10 15 1.5 0 124.5 110.531 Shaun Hill SF / 9 136 210 1499 7.1 9 7 16 27 1.7 1 123.7 112.732 Brodie Croyle KC / 6 157 270 1796 6.7 8 9 11 23 2.1 0 122.1 115.133 Kyle Boller BAL / 10 138 225 1436 6.4 8 7 15 47 3.1 1 116.5 107.5

Is that going to be the "standard" fbg scoring? The rankings are still based on 4 for tds and -1 for ints.
My guess is they just tabulated the projections wrong, I guess we will find out. :excited:

You are right about the QB scoring using 6 and -2, but that isn't standard FBG scoring unless they changed it this year. Still doesn't explain LT's points but I'm sure it'll get worked out. Just wanted to make someone aware of it.

Considering that each player has all stats projected, it shouldn't be all that hard to change this for different scoring systems such as PPR leagues. Can we get this for PPR leagues?

Yes, you can do this via MyFBG by setting up your own custom scoring parameters.

1. Yes, we did change the standard scoring system this year. We should have publicized this better. During the offseason, we queried the MyFBG profiles and found that about half the leagues were using 4-point TDs and half were using 6 point TDs. Even though 5-point-TD leagues are rare, we decided it was the best compromise.

So the official FBG projections and rankings are now based on 5 points per TD, and -2 points per INT.

2. However, as could be expected, some things got screwed up along the way. We were for some reason using 6 point TDs on the player pages and the projection pages. I just corrected that a moment ago, so it should be fixed now.

3. If you're a subscriber, you'll probably want to use the MyFBG projections viewers rather than the static pages that David linked to at the top.

I also looked at the top 5 RBs and it looked good except for LT. The next four looked right.
LT is off because Bob projected some passing numbers for him, which are counted in the calculation but don't show up on the RB projections list.

Herman, you seriously think Taylor Mehlhaff won't be able to beat out Martin Gramatica?

:whoosh:

I have Mehlhaff ranked above Coutu; kicking in a dome at least nine times a season while Coutu keeps having hammy issues.

Looking at the projections for receivers I'm DEFINITELY staying away from ALL Chicago WR's this year. If MR. Henry's projections stand true at years end the Chicago receivers are only gonna have 10 touchdowns between their top 4 guys. Not looking too good for those guys.

I currently have Mehlhaff ranked 19th and beating out Gramatica. For some reason his projections didn't upload properly. Will have our technoguys look into it.

That is a TERRIBLE compromise:1) no one uses 5 pts for passing TD as you note2) Either choose 4 or choose 6 or 3) do bothThe 5 pt ones can't be used by ANYONE - why make them totally unusable?

phenoms uses 5 pt for TD's. A few people around here play in those leagues.

The first thing I looked up was CB projections to see if Richard Marshall would make the top 20.

Norton has him at #1.

Me likey.

One thing that I have learned about compromise since getting married, chose one or the other. Picking something in the middle is a bad idea. I have the ugly *** couch in my living room to prove it.

The compromise make sense, if you realize that they're just trying to get more people to pay for a subscription and use MyFBG. :D

Would it be possible to add the ability to average the projections from all the staff and sort by those? Just like what's done in the rankings?
