This thread needs more hysteria,  more deflection, more name calling and less coherent arguments if it is ever to compete with any of the Trump threads.

I grill the ####ers still attached only salted, detach and serve with various sauces.

How'd'youlikethemapples?

I love the crispiness of flats.

Flats, crispy, sauced, any time.

Drums, also crispy and sauced any time.

Won't catch me complaining. "Hey, where are my flats?"

Just put me in Buffalo and let me roam. Yum.

For years I'd convinced my son that drums were best, and I was doing him a favor by eating all the flats. He finally figured things out a year or so ago.

What do you have againet the whole wing? Twisting and separating the drumette from the wingette is so satisfying. I feel cheated if I don't get the wingtip too. I want the whole damn wing. Then you don't have to worry about this other nonsense.
I don't have anything against the whole wing, except that you're not eating "wings", you are eating fried chicken.

Really want some wings now.  And while I prefer flats I celebrate the entire wing catalog .  Flats drums whole boneless natural breaded baked fried whatever.   Slap some sauce on it and let me go to town

Also I thought only women dipped their wings in ranch/blue cheese?

Equal split here between drums and flats.  If forced to pick, I would pick drums for the ease of eating (less mess).

Must be NO breading and make 'em float.  Lightly dressed with fairly hot sauce - heavy blue cheese use.

Easy poll.  The flat (although a dumb term) is better than the drum.  But I wouldn't turn down a plate of drums.  Both are great.

Boneless > Drums > Flats

Sorry if this upsets you.
You have this in the exact opposite order, imo.  Should be flats > drums > boneless.  Boneless wings are often just chicken parts that are heavily breaded a taste crappy.

now I want wings.  Little dive bar near our duck camp serves the whole gd wing, fried perfectly.  Sooo freaking good to bust the drum from the flat, and then make an *** of myself trying to get something from the tip too.

I used to like blue cheese dipping sauce...but I'm almost completely dipping sauce free these days.  Don't know why.  Hot sauce only.

Little confused on why you think this would upset those of us with a more refined palate. Go ahead and enjoy your awfulness and leave more flatty goodness for me and the others in #teamflat

I realize this is shtick, but boneless wings aren't even made from wing meat.

It's basically small parts of chicken breast.
and that doesn't make it wrong to like them....they just don't belong in a wing discussion (or compare to them)

I am an original Quaker Steak guy just grew up 20 minutes away but BWW are an acceptable alternative.  At least here in NC.
I see too many mangled wings, and or a head now and again to think much of BWW.  They fry them unevenly and sometimes to the point of inedible.  I know it's min wage guys back there on the fryer tho, so I'm not COMPLETELY against going back.

They had a place her called Blinkos, that had great wings but went out of business because guy didn't pay employment taxes.  They have Buffalo brothers that just open near me.  Great the first time.  Raw in the middle the second.  So, they are off the list.  I guess I just have no great choices.   :sadbanana:

I've got a few good options but I've started making them in my deep fryer at home.  So good.
