Footballguys Audible Podcast song (1 Viewer)

Ok, I've looked in all the forums and did a bunch of Google searches too, so if someone could help me I am looking for the name of the group and the song that plays in the opening of the Audible podcast.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"I'm living in a fantasy. Got everybody mad at me"

At the beginning of On the Couch, that one guy says something about his mother that I can never make out. Sounds like "I would not blow to my mother". Anyone know?

That song is cringe-worthy. And, yes, the Jene Bramel line is amazingly stupid/hilarious. My guess is that guy/group volunteered the song as a way to get some product out in the field, and the Audible guys were too kind (or just put on the spot) and agreed to use it.

And my guess - "but I would not own my mother".

I'm sure you're a nice guy and all but nobody on Earth has ever been more wrong on anything in the history of time ever since ever.

That's quite a statement. And, frankly, it made me rethink my position. I've seen the error of my ways and now appreciate that song for the greatness that it is. No doubt that 10,000 years from now, when humans are extinct, an alien race will visit Earth and marvel at our history - the artwork of Monet, the texts of Plato, and the ode to John Norton keeping my defense scorin' WOOOOO!
