It has been just over a month since we unveiled the Footballguys online store. As the main contributor for the creation of the store online I'd like to hear your feedback regarding your experience. If applicable, we'd like to make adjustments to cater to your needs.

Was the process easy to follow?
Were you impressed with the quality of the items that you purchased?
Were you pleased with the length of time it took to receive the item(s)?
What can we do to improve the online store? Constructive criticism encouragedThanks for your feedback. If you have any questions about the store or the process, please post them here and I will gladly respond.

Props for the understanding that some football fans are big. You guys have sizes up to 6XL in T-shirts, which is pretty nice for those who are big guys.

I've seen organizations selling shirts to support a hobby where a good 10-25% of the members really weren't going to buy them due to not having the right sizes available. Who in their right mind only offers shirts in S-XL?

Thanks. In most cases we can offer up to 4XL with 5XL & 6XL as definite possibilities that may take a little more time to special order.

Ordered a hoodie as I promised in another thread. Ordering was very easy and I received the item in a timely manner. My only complaint would be that the logo on the hoodie front seemed to be small,. It did not seem to be the same size as depicted here.

In that picture, we super-imposed the logo image to show up better on the photo. In doing so, it doesn't show the actual size of the logo on the item. The good news is we did not embroider a lot of hoodies, because it was Summer and we did not anticipate a lot of hoodies being ordered. We definitely will increase the logo size for future sweatshirts yet to be completed. We collectively agree with that opinion that the logo would be better if slightly bigger. Thanks for the feedback.

This is a serious post for the marketing team/person. Is this being advertised? If so, how? Do other posters know about it?That's my feedback.
Tom in Albany, thanks for the feedback, we obviously want people to know what's available. For you not to be aware is a bit of a concern, hopefully that's not the majority opinion of posters and those who visit the site.To answer your question, there is a large banner on the home page of the footballguys.com website, plus it is mentioned at least twice a week in the daily email update that goes out to 78,000 plus people. It is also mentioned periodically on the Audible podcasts. That is the extent of our advertising at this time, but it reaches a wide range of Footballguys enthusiasts and those are the ones that will purchase.

No wonder I never heard of it  Never check the homepage, never read the crap in the email (just skim to the important news), and don't bother with podcasts.

Honestly - I like the stuff. I could see myself in one of the hoddies. The problem is I don't want to buy one and wear one and give away "my secret".

Just being honest.

All of the pictures should be of the actual items. For example, I go to the sweatshirts - you have a grey and a red depicted, with 4 color choices underneath. I click on the black one - and I see a plain black shirt. Now I know there will be a logo on it when/if I buy it, but I'd really like to see the actual shirt, instead of imagining how the logo looks on black (etc). To be honest, that's what kept me from buying one - can there be a picture of every item?Oh, and I realize the super-imposing you mentioned was done with good intentions, but that's really a major no-no. If I bought a shirt and it didn't look like the picture, that'd be my last purchase.

Its Realy common for Embroidery companies to impost the image on the shirt. Those pics are usually done to give the company that might buy the shirt a idea of what the logo would look like on the shirt to see if they would want to change colors or make changes.I had a idea for a sweatshirt that you guys could sell that might be more popular with those that are worried about people finding your site lol.

Just creat a tackle twill smiley face aout 9'x9' roughly in size it will not be a heavy stitch due to the fact its mostly applique and I think it would sell really good!

I do appreciate the comments/feedback. Our intent is to provide a clear image of what the logo would look like, especially the sweatshirts. Without the ability to zoom in on the logoed item (zoom is available, but the item does not show the logo), the main goal is to show the image as clear as possible. We do intend to make the sweatshirt logo bigger and we have not ruled out using a different source to display the items where you can zoom in on each item, which would also show the logo.

Thanks for your comments. While I see your point (and I know you're not the only one who feels that way) I personally don't agree with that logic - but that's my opinion. Me personally, I don't care if other people in my league use FBGs. For those who don't want to display the footballguys name, there are alternatives - The hats only show the blackeyed joe logo. Another option is to purchase an item with the Audible logo.

Personally, I would love to purchase one of the hoodies but I prefer to wait until the logos are made bigger. Do you have any idea when the logo size will be increased? Thanks

Same here, my shortcut takes me directly to the forums and I only skim the news in the e-mail updates. Why not hold a small contest where the winner gets to pick one thing from the store? Meanwhile you'll generate interest from people that only post/read the forums.

Wish I would have waited to make my purchase. It was quite sad to have my wife ask me why it looked so small. I couldn't even blame shrinkage because it came right out of the box
