For the love of God, do not elect Hilary Clinton next election. (1 Viewer)

No doubt. There are a huge number of better choices on the Republican side. Jeb = capitulation.
I'm curious as to who you think these are. I can think of one choice that's better, and he's certainly huge, but who else?
A list of folks I would vote for before Jeb:

Ryan

Cruz

Christie

Santorum

Rubio

Jindal

Romney (he would have been a superb executive leader - immeasurably better than what we have)

Haley

Paul (Rand - his dad is a nutcase)

I would love to see Jeff Sessions run, but he's too smart to try.

Of those I see really only two with a good shot. Any would be much superior to Hillary (though she would be a much, much better president than Obama)
Ted Cruz and Rick Santorum are nut cases.
Both would cause you and your brethren to have a stroke. Well worth it.
Al Sharpton would drive you and your brethren nuts, but it doesn't mean I'd want him anywhere near the Oval Office.
ty. at least he is honest about their intention i.e. #### America.
Meh - I'd personally like to see Christie or Ryan, but you ######s voted the current guy in the last two times. A complete wacko with no leadership or executive skills whatsoever. The moral outrage here is pretty lost.

And in particular on the Cruz comments - obviously racism at its worst.

Jeff Sessions - from Alabama - "The crazy state"?
Incredibly sharp guy. My other two reps - Shelby and Sewell are wastes, though neither are crazy.

BTW, Louisiana is the crazy state. Let's get the labels right here.

Sand, I dont know how smart Sessions is, but he's really extreme, even more than Cruz or Paul. He would be a terrible President, hard to imagine a worse one. I'd sooner vote for Jimmy Carter to come back.

Not really looking to go into this, but you're flat out wrong here. He's not even close to those guys on the spectrum.

And it's a moot point as he has no intentions of running.

Louisiana is the corrupt state - Alabama is the crazy state - no one tops Roy Moore.
The La label is certainly correct - can't wait to see Edwards head to Congress.

personally I'd like to see the GOP go with a "normal' seeming candidate, like a Kasich or a Walker or a Daniels....
I like Kasich and Daniels. Walker is a whiny little #######.

But let's be honest, none of these guys has a chance against Hillary Clinton. To beat her, you need a star. The Republicans have one star- Chris Christie. He's the only guy with a decent chance in a national election against Hillary.

Sadly, this is the strong underlying current of American politics.

It's rather pathetic and neither party is immune from the politics of schadenfreude rather than the politics of governing and better our nation.

Right now the left doesn't have to get their toes wet.

See the last couple elections.. Obama just sits back and lets the right go crazy. The harder they try the worse they look, the worse they look the harder they try.. a vicious circle. Obama loved every second of the birther movement, and in my opinion was masterful in baiting them on and keeping them in the media.

Yet again it is clear Hillary will be kicking back sipping Mai Tai's while the other side works themselves into a hysterical frenzy over the likes of Benghazi (apparently this tour's birther contingent). All she will have to do if things get stale is change her hair color for a week, the nut jobs on the right will trip over themselves to make assxes of themselves.

Hillary wins 2016 easy even if she is caught red-handed mishandling and covering up Benghazi. Americans do not care about that. Most watch the mainstream media so they would not even hear about a Benghazi story should it come out. The mainstream media is totally behind the dems, libs, and Hillary.

The GOP stands no chance. Women are voting Hillary. Minorities are voting D. The unemployed are voting D. The folks receiving govt handouts are voting D.

Last I checked, a lot of the folks who get govt. handouts live in red states.

My favorite thing about the post was the bit about how women and minorities that are voting for Democrats. It's like he's lamenting the fact that those people get just as much of a say as the white guys. "How are we gonna compete with a party that's pandering to groups that make up the overwhelming majority of the population of the United States?"

They're still voting D (if they vote), but since they don't live in a swing state, their Presidential vote will be somewhat inconsequential

A lot of them are lower middle class whites who vote Republican.

The recession has pushed more lower-income Americans to rely on government assistance like food stamps, but “nearly 70 percent of all benefits of these programs go to white people.” Data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture found that the overwhelming majority “of counties with the fastest-growth in food-stamp aid during the last four years voted for the Republican presidential candidate in 2008.” These included Republican strongholds like King County, Texas, where 96 percent of voters supported Romney.

Washington (CNN)Neera Tanden, one of Hillary Clinton's longtime confidants and former policy adviser, dropped whatever coyness was left regarding the former secretary of state's all-but-certain presidential run at an event on Tuesday night.

Addressing an audience of about 150 people at an Asian-American and Pacific Islander Ready for Hillary event, Tanden -- president of the Center for American Progress -- said she was looking forward to seeing everyone in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada.

I am not a Hillary supporter in any way, but damn I am curious as what the circus would be like having Bill back in the White House in the role of 1st Man.

Don't let this broad in office.
The only way she gets back in office is if the GOP pisses themselves.
Gop is a joke. Hillary wins easily. No matter who the gop trots out there
I'm not voting for Hillary, but I'm also not delusional. She will win in a landslide, bank on it. Otherwise, you're telling me more people in the U.S. will vote to elect the GOP into office. Look at the voting from the last few elections, and rationalize that. Nothing indicates to me the tide is shifting at all in the GOP's way with the voting populous, and they're going to take down a Clinton with "whoever emerges?" Not happening.

I couldn't be happier. Absolutely no one sets the right on full blown tilt like Hillary. Half the GOP primary will be about who can vilify her the most.

Good objective non-sexist observation. (I don't know why you are wasting your time going into an accounting when you are so articulate with the written word, but I digress)

Anyway, here are some things that might change your mind about Hillary, given your strong support for acceptance of gay people and gay rights: She has picked an openly gay campaign manager (the first ever in a major presidential campaign) http://www.towleroad.com/2015/04/hillary-clinton-picks-openly-gay-campaign-manager.html, and her announcement video featured an engaged gay couple, http://www.newnownext.com/hillary-clinton-officially-running-for-president-features-engaged-gay-couple-in-announcement-video/04/2015/.

From what I've been reading, Mook is a major improvement over Mark Penn and Solis-Doyle.

Remember the GOP talking point from back in '08 intended to vilify Obama as a radical by saying how much more of a moderate Hillary is than Obama?

Looking forward to seeing those clips again when the GOP crazies start the anti-Hillary fear campaign.

I just don't see Hillary getting young folks out to vote like Obama. I am not even sure she wins the nomination.

You far left donkeys are so busy making fun of the GOP you don't realize what a #### candidate she is.

I remember that, it was so weird because it was the only time I recall people on the right saying good things about Hillary (at least good in the sense that she was held out as the more centrist and preferable candidate).

I also remember you guys crowing about how the GOP was dying and would never, ever be in power again. Weird, huh?

I never said that. Been around long enough to see these things are cyclical.

However I will say with the demographic shift in the population (particularly the Latino vote that the GOP keeps going out of their way to alienate) that it is extremely unlikely to the see the GOP take the White House after 2016, barring some sort of collapse of the economy (there are even projections that Texas is likely to become a blue state because of its high Latino population, the average age being something like 18).

I don't like Hilary, so I am pretty biased. But she just isn't a very strong candidate for the general.

It should be interesting who could emerge from the cluster of a field the GOP has that might have a chance. I think either Rubio (if he could shift effectively to the center after the primaries) or Jeb could beat Hillary. Not sure about anyone else. With so many candidates that the GOP will be running they could just end up destroying each other, so who knows. Should be an interesting cycle.

Can you not see why I'm against her by watching this video?

The majority of people in this video are WOMEN.

There are TWO speaking roles by MEN, one of which is a man hoping his dog will stop "eating the garbage". His wife isn't white.

The other speaking role is of a man who owns his own business, no wife in sight.

There is not one white couple in this video that get a spoken role.

There are TWO spoken roles for single mothers. Where's the single dad?

There's a black couple? Where's the white couple?

There's a girl in her 20's speaking about finding a new job. Where's the 20 year old guy?

There's a small black boy talking. Where's the small white boy talking?

Seriously, this video is garbage and clearly targetted towards minorities, women, and homosexuals. There are three white couples in the entire video and two of them are gay.

if they needed a ###### to speak would you have done it?

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to come across as a bigot. But when 77% of the population is white, why are you not showing any strong white American couples on here? It's clear to me that she isn't a candidate that is going to be supportive to my people, my culture, and my future.

It's clear who she is catering to based on that video.

Who does like Hillary? Probably one of the most unlikable candidates ever.
