Forgetting Sarah Marshall (1 Viewer)

Mila Kunis was on Kimmel last night. She is now in my top 1.   She looked smoking hot, lost her voice yelling obscenities at the Dodgers game and is a huge WoW player. ;)
Impossible. Hot chicks don't play WOW, that's just something to say for the geeks to love her.
 by play she means she went to the website once to see what it was all about so she could appeal to her audience more

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41Z0vq6MarU

that being said.. as hot and cool as she is, she actually seems like TOO much of a "guy's girl" and might be a bit intimidating.

she was fine on "that 70's show" in a comedy.and she's an excellent voice character on family guy.

crazy in that kimmel clip that in her WOW play someone had recognized her voice and called her out.

she does have a VERY recognizable voice

Based on this thread, I netflix'd FSM and watched it tonight.

I give the flick a 6 out of 10. Entertaining. Shouldn't be mentioned with 40 Year Old Virgin, Superbad or Knocked Up.

For me? Putting Mila Kunis on my radar was worth the 2 hours. She is up the Deepster's rankings with a bullet.

SO can we agree that she looked obscenely tappable on Kimmel or what?
yes... insanely.but not enough to make me want to see max payne, or to ever watch a re-run of Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Max Payne looks decent to me. Plus, Marlo Stanfield is in it and his track record of choosing good scripts (see, The Wire) is flawless. Im not gonna see it in theaters, but Wahlberg flicks are generally good, The Happening notwithstandingIf I were you, Id watch FSM again. I went in with high expectations when I first saw it due to friends comments, and was disappointed. I watched it again, knowing what I was getting into, and it was pretty good. Not 40 YOV or Superbad good, but solid nonetheless

 Odd that she's definitely top 5 on my list but have ZERO interest in seeing movies that she's in simply because she is in them. Didn't come close to the earlier GIA / Angelina Jolie days.
Well, Mila doesnt have movies like Hackers or Pushing Tin that she made before she was famous either. Not to mention, Jolie can actually act. Yeah, the TNA will let me tune in to her flicks, but shes got skills tooAlso, FSM and Max Payne are the only movies I can even think of that Mila has been in. To this point, her whole career is basically a voice and That 70s Show

She was in American Psycho 2 !

Didn't read the thread, but rented this last weekend. Thought it was "meh" at best. I don't know, we watched the extended version, and if he cried one more time, we were going to turn it off. May have been better had we watched the studio version.

I thought it was a funny movie. Not great or anything. Since others have ranked it against Superbad, etc...here's my take:

40 YO Virgin

.

.

.

FSM

.

.

.

Superbad (laaaame movie except the cops were funny)

.

.

Knocked Up (Can't remember if I even finished it)

I liked it enough to name my fantasy hoops team this year the "Aldous Snow All-Stars."

BTW, for anyone who may not know, pre-production has already begun on a spin-off/sequel to this called "Get Him To The Greek." The movie centers around Aldous Snow and the Jonah Hill character. Aldous needs to make it to a gig at the Greek Theater, but apparently gets wasted and gets into all sorts of s--t, and Jonah Hill needs to get him to the gig on time. Has potential to be hilarious if well-written.

this movie was hilarious. if you dont think so, you are pretty much a loser.
:moneybag:
Just would like to know what people thought was so funny about the movie. I got annoyed right away with the whiny, crying, unlikable lead character and his unfunny Dracula song. I honestly don't remember laughing during the movie. Superbad at least had the cops and the chubby kid had some good lines. I didn't like Knocked Up that much, but it did have funny stuff with the roommates, and thought Paul Rudd had some decent stuff in the movie. To me FSM was entirely forgettable. I'd rate them:40 year old virgin >>> Superbad >>>>>>>Knocked Up >>>>>>>>>Sarah Marshall

Aldous Snow was an amazing character. Bill Hader was hilarious as usual (his tortured "Nooooooooooo !" through the phone when the lead dude, whose name eludes me) is approaching Sarah and Aldous' room had me floored.) Jonah Hill was funny as hell too.Jonah : "How do you like the salad?"

Aldous : "It's mundane."

Jonah : "Yeah... it is mundane. It's awesome."

:lmao:

How much man-junk was in the theater version? We watched the extended version, thinking there would be some extra boobage and instead got lots of man-junk.

I went in expecting it to be pretty good, I don't know maybe I was in a laughing mood or something but I thought it was hilarious.

***QUOTE SPOILERS***

I need to B my L on someone's T's.

Oh, a wedding in Hawaii...REAL original!

Peter what are you doing here? I came here to kill you!

Do you wanna gag me? Well now I kinda do.

It just went from six to midnight.

She got me this to keep my cereal fresh and now I have the FRESHEST cereal!

Oh I know what you're doing. He's saying if I "s____" on you, it would be a pearl necklace.

I also laughed at the part when he's singing his self-loathing song to himself, the CSI spoof scenes, and pretty much anytime Paul Rudd said anything.

I just watched this last night and I don't know, maybe I missed the point, but I couldn't believe how bad it was. There was nothing original and though everyone in the movie is pretty talented, I thought I was a waste of time.

So I went looking for a thread, found this one and I really can't believe how many people were not only down with this movie, but were actually putting it on any kind of a top whatever list. I might go so far as to put this in my worst 20 movies of all time.

For the record, I like 40-YOV, Knocked Up and even Super Bad, but this one just did not do it for me.

Just got done watching it and haven't read the entire thread yet.....

I thought it was funny. It wasn't hilarious and I wouldn't class it as one of the best comedies in the past 10 years or anything but it was funny and definitely worth a rental. I think the English dude, Brand, did a good job.

Oh yeah, Mila Kunis was/is 10 times hotter than the blond chick, Kristen Bell....that's her name, right?

Just got my first shot at FSM last night.

Very funny. Kris and Mila made me want to hump ...everything

4.5/5

This movie is a solid but not spectacular comedy. I thought it was okay on the 1st viewing, but the next time I saw it I thought it was a little better

Its decent, but its got nothing on Step Brothers or Role Models

"You know what else is funny? Me.......on the moon! Oh no, I'm floating away!"

Watched this Sat night with the wife - while not my fave Apatow movie it was very funny and better than 99% of the trash comedies that are out there.

Great movie to watch with the wife or a date - she liked it better than some of his others - maybe it was the male frontals?

My list -

1. Freaks and Geeks - ok not a movie but love this show!!!

2. 40 yr old - yeah it slows down a lot but it has a ton of heart

3. Superbad - another slow ending but I would put 1st half up against almost any comedy

4. FSM - Great date comedy - most of us have been that pathetic guy

5. Knocked Up - Love Rogan - didn't love Hagel.

BTW - I am usually quiet on chicksin movies but even I gasped a "Whoa" on a shot of Mila in her short shorts - when did she get so hot? Never even on my radar and I loved 70s show

 No question about it and while this is a movie wouldn't just about 100% of the guys who were in his position then had MK all over you be a step up? Everything about her was superior to the blond chick.

Can't believe this movie doesn't get more love...it was one of the funniest new movie I've seen in a long time.

This is correct. Russell Brand funniest part of that movie, by far.

Was a good movie. Not as good as Step Brothers, Superdbad and 40yo virgin though.

I think that's the problem I had with it. There were so many scenes that weren't really that funny, but didn't advance the plot or character development either. Lots of repetitive stuff. Maybe the properly edited version would have been less disjointed.

Finally got around to watching this...Good for some laughs. Mila is up there on my to do list with Megan Fox....Russell Brand stole the show. The dude is a riot.

FWIW, this was the #1 comedy of 2008 as per some show I saw on TBS a few days back where people voted on comedies from this year online I guess.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Get Smart, and Dont Mess With Zohan were also on the Top 10 list, so take that with a grain of salt.

 Terrible ####in' list.
