Forum Updates: Solid Blue Star Must Go... (1 Viewer)

So I have one major complaint about the board update/refresh that I'm afraid won't go away. I get that the search function has been buggy, etc...I'm confident that they'll work that out...But I'm a little less confident that the solid blue stars that indicate a read thread will go away.

These solid blue stars look very very similar to the blue dots next to all the other posts. I refresh the front page, and scan those stars to find threads I've replied to. With the two looking so similar (and me getting older and blinder), I have a really hard time telling the difference as I skim the topics. Can we go back to the star with the outlined circle like we used to have?

Curious to get other's opinions.

I did the star art for Memphis Foundry for the last board update.... If he's wants to go with anything different I'll gladly do something else.

I own a board on the same software and it's a very easy fix.... I'm sure it's on the list.

upgrade is still in progress. just because the board is up, doesn't mean it's completed.

IIRC, it was the same way after the last board upgrade a couple years ago. I remember hating the blue stars on mobile. It went away after a week or two. No biggie.

it's probably as simple as dropping a different png in the forum/public/style_images/master/ folder. I'm sure the process of doing this is underway.

It's been so long...I don't even remember what the black dot looked like...Seriously.

I feel like if it looks like the dark blue dot that's there now, that could be worse than the dark blue star from a differentiation standpoint.
