McGahee will get you the yards but no TD's. Foster won't get you either. His TD this week was a miracle and probably won't happen again this year. He's not getting many opportunities and when he is, he doesn't make anything of them.
Is this even necessary to discuss? McGahee is SOOOO much better than Foster. Once DWILL returns for the Cats, he will slowly start losing carries and eventually his job. McGahee has a nice schedule in front of him and should be productive in the 2nd half of the season.
I was just starting to think that Foster was becoming useful. In my PPR league, he has scored 70 pts in his last 5 games. That is almost as good as Frank Gore's last 5 games. Foster's schedule gets a bit easier too, except his matchups in weeks 15-16 stink for the fantasy playoffs.
I think Williams' ship has sailed for the year. He will be a bigger factor next year but Carolina is gonna focus on winning games down the stretch and I think will rely more on Foster to do it.
I have both - so I approach this question as who would I start since S Jax is #1
Willis - much better talent - better schedule and no other RB breathing down his neck
Foster - pass first team - marginal talent - D Wiliams still around
I like willis for the above. FWIW - I think Foster will keep his job and put up decent #2/3 RB stats from here on out - but with Willis' schedule he can go on a nice run. I have him pegged as a strong finish candidate that can help you make a late push.
