I think Gore could have a pretty good day. The Niner D is good enough to keep this game reasonably close, and if they can, Frank will get his touches, plenty of them. As far as Dilfer goes, I see him being on a very short leash. He has pretty much been relegated to QB3, with Shawn Hill getting most of the reps at QB2 since Smith came back from the shoulder injury. I believe Dilfer gets the start on Sunday just out of respect. A swan song if you will, in this what will surely be his last season if not start. Hill will be an improvement, but not a difference maker, and niether should affect Gore's performance. It will be The D if anything that affects his carries. That and rain, but if it is dry, I would start him if I owned him.
