Tonight sitting by the fire, listening to some good music with a cold beer. At some point soon the wife will come down and want to talk about her weight, what age the paint is in the kitchen since it must be time to re-do, and what food to serve next week when it's our turn to provide snacks at the neighborhood play date.
Tomorrow morning, one of my three children will wake up at 5:30. Not sure which one: probably the one whose turn it is after those devious bastards drew straws while I was work earning money for their food, clothing, toys, and accommodations. After that, I'll be to heading to Home Depot to pick out that previously mentioned paint color for the kitchen, which should take about 2 hours or whichever kid starts screaming first. Normally this is at least 2 hours. I'll then head to the store to pick up some beautiful Ahi Tuna for the grill, at which point after dinner I'll get yelled at in a snarky voice because the inside was a little more pink than she'd like. Blasphemy.
My only salvation is that Sunday features 2 pretty good football games, which I plan to watch in their entirety. This will get ruined by "family game day", which means no electronics and marathon games of Uno.
