Friends with a stud athlete or famous person. (1 Viewer)

forgot to mention i work next door to where joe montana lives. a lot of times when i come in in the morning, i'll see his wife jogging. she still looks damn good. one time I also almost ran right into him walking around a blind corner.

I play pick up basketball with a former NBA legend and am friends with a former NFLer but I'm not dropping names.
I hear ya. I get run with those two as well. No way I would drop their names.
Why?
:sarcasm:

Having fun with how strange it is for him not to say the names. It's not like they will ever find out some random dude mentioned their famous names on the internet. Also he could say any name it's not like we know if it's the truth or not.

My bad.

I didn't/ don't drop the names of the famous people I know because , well I'm their friends/acquaintance and they get enough attention as it is.

Me not posting the names of the few famous people I know is less strange and more understandable then asking if I know any famous people.

They're just people and I think of them as that. They aren't famous to me and from my experience, they enjoy my company because I don't treat them like they're famous.

It serves them and me no good by posting their names.

I get what you're saying.

guys this is a pretty obscure corner of the internet like most communities. i doubt that if you drop names in here that it would ever get back to them.

I went to school with a girl who became a stripper that led to doing some adult movies. I never did bang her, she seemed to be a "good girl" back in the day.

Friends with the lead singer of The Big Wu, and the bassist from Trampled by Turtles
Who?
Big Wu is more of a midwest famous jam band, but they do tour all over the place

Trampled by Turtles have had a couple albums that have charted and have played on Letterman and Fallon and other late night shows.

I suppose you could have looked this up if you really cared, but I'm guessing that wasn't the point.

My wife is good friends with Rich Froning's wife. So I hung out with him often in College, and occasionally still get together with Rich and his wife.

My college roommate's sister was an Olympian at the Atlanta Games. Got to hang out in the Athlete's village for a few days.

Brother in Law has worked for Kevin Costner for the past 6 years. He stood outside of the delivery room for the birth of Kevin's last child holding both of their cell phones. I got an autographed Draft Day poster out of the deal.

Jason Sudekis was in my highschool class, but transferred out after sophmore year.

Hung out with Josh Earnest (White House Press Secretary) in high school.

If they are famous who gives a ####?

Even if I had looked it up, I still wouldn't have known who they were.

To be honest, it's because it's creepy. They're just people. IMO , it would be weird for me to "brag" about knowing them.

How would you feel of you found out your friends were on some message board talking about you by name?

Maybe I'm the weird one .

Alan Parsons has been a close friend of mine for many years. I've met or have become friends with several individuals in the music business through our relationship. He's a terrific individual.

If some anonymous poster on a fantasy football message board divulged that they played pick up basketball with me a few times, frankly I'd be outraged. Who wouldn't?

I use to work with the wife of the olympic bobsledder Johny Quinn who got famous b/c he had to break out of the bathroom door this past winter olympics. I never met him though...she worked in our Texas office and would come up to ours in NY occasionally.

He was an ex-NFL'er for Green Bay and is pretty tight with Aaron Rodgers from what I know.

 And your whole "I am buddies with famous people, but I won't tell you who they are" isn't bragging? OK, guy.

Seriously, if they're as "famous" as this dude suggests, the last thing they're going to give a flying poo about is someone talking about them here. I mean, they probably have more Twitter followers (who obviously know them by name) than people that'll read this thread.

Ex-NFLer Fulton Walker was one of my high school teachers.

Ex-NFLer Jerry Porter is my Eskimo brother. My girlfriend was drunk and called me to go out with her friends but I told her I would meet her in her room after. Went over to her floor in the dorms and hung out with some friends for 30 minutes or so before she came back with Jerry, walked past me (Jerry knew me and said "Hey man, see you in a bit"), went in her room and commenced. Still friends with Jerry.

I quarantined Dan Aykroyd's dog during the Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester a few years back. He was a ####. Aykroyd, not the dog. Like to think the dog and I are still friends.

I watched Ron Howards kids in '95 when he came to my home town to visit his sister. I worked at the resort he was staying at and had the night off. I had waited on their table the night before and somehow got wrangled into it. Nice kids, lousy tip.

Used to know former World Light Heavyweight Champion "Prince" Charles Williams. He was a regular at the store I managed 1999-2005.

Hung out with, drank with, played golf with former U.S. Champion and World #2 Middleweight Kickboxer Mickey Scodova in the 1990's

Sounds more like he cuckolded you rather than you are Eskimo brothers. NTTAWWT.

When I was 19 I came into the city for a night to go out with some friends. One of them was a trust fund baby and always had good invites to house parties. We went out for a little to some bars and left for this house party. Black Eyed Peas were hanging. Smoked a blunt with them a year before they blew up.
