Friends with a stud athlete or famous person. (1 Viewer)

Used to ball with Sean Rooks from time to time.

A good friend is friends with Matthew Lillard - haven't hung out yet but hear he's a riot.

Friends with Adam Sandler's cousin (and missed out on a chance to hang out with him in college).

My sister went to school with Jamie Pressley (and she spent the night at my house while in HS... I was away at college <_< )

That's about the best I got. :(

One of my good friends is an anchor on SportsCenter. Although, I'm not sure how much he considers me a friend anymore. I've disagreed with a couple of his sports opinions and I think he hates me now. I still think he's a pretty good guy. I think maybe he's not used to people disagreeing with him when it comes to sports anymore.

My daughter is good friends with an 8th grade girl who is the best basketball player in our district.

She even had her over for her birthday party last week.

I was asking her all kinds of questions about what it's like to be that good at basketball and if she had any local Community Colleges after her..

Finally my wife was like "Knock it off!".. I got the hint...

My most famous friend is an Academy Award winning director and a mega uber millionaire. But honestly, one of the nicest most humble people I know.

I’ve known the drummer for SNL for about forty years. He’s also a first call session musician in NYC. I don’t know if he’s considered famous or not, but he certainly rubs shoulders with some big timers. His stories are surreal.

He told me a story of doing an event honoring Van Morrison, where Van and Ray Charles were going to do a Morrison song. In rehearsal, the two legends got into an argument on how Ray should come in with the vocals on the second verse. During the live performance, Ray purposely came in at the wrong time.

He also got me and another high school buddy into a couple of cast parties after SNL shows. That was pretty exciting for a couple of mid-western boys.

He’s been the drummer for the house band for 22 years. It’s still a trip to see him up there. Great guy and a respected, world class drummer.

i sold baseball great Joe Morgan a half pint of macaroni salad at the deli i used to work at.

also sold stuff to rich gannon's wife who is a really really weird lady, and bill romanowski's wife who was hot but just as much of an ####### as he was.

was high school (and some college) friends with an NFLer. Was on a couple of Super Bowl winning teams and is now a sportscaster on the SEC Network and has his own radio show

It sure is surprising he isnt more well known. Does he prefer to just fly under the radar like that?

I went to high school, graduated in my class, with a future NBA champion. We would talk in class but didn't hang out outside of school. And, he didn't come to the reunion however if I wanted, I could get a hold of him through people I currently know.

I once had my picture taken with a former American League Rookie of the Year. The photo was taken by a former MLBer who pitched a perfect game.

This goes back like 15 years but I've tripped on acid and ecstasy with Fred Savage of Wonder Years fame about a half dozen times. We partied at several jam band festivals and shows.

Why would you think listing someone you know who is famous "OUTING" them? I didn't say post someone you had #### sex with.

I'd say he's well known by the right people and doesn't care about the radar. He's in the middle of an incredible career. I can't imagine an American with electricity that hasn't heard him play.

I met him at a Super Bowl party in Houston. He came up to me and told me my GF (at the time) had a nice ###. Then he looked at it, looked at me, winked and looked back at her ###. He then sat back down at a high table by himself and starred at her ### for a good minute or two. At first I thought he was trying to be funny. But turned out he was just a creepy old dude starring at my 21 year old GF's ###. Weird.

No doubt, but its a shame he has contributed so much to music and the general public doesnt even know his name.

Unless he prefers it that way.

Please don't respond to this guy as it only encourages him to post more. I'm not even remotely kidding.

I will post regardless.

We are having a nice conversation and I think you should butt out because you arent contributing anything to it.

You are being disrespectful to his friend.

Thanks
