Gado inactive (1 Viewer)

Looks like Dayne is active today and Gado will sit. Is this just performance related? Lundy has looked the best so far, but that is not saying much.

its pretty simple why, gado sucks.

the real question is why do so many continue to think otherwise?

Given that FBG's projected him to have RB2 #'s today, I'd respectfully suggest that this get pinned.

I remember reading that Kubiak plans to make the backup RB situation (between Dayne and Gado) a week-by-week thing.

Looks like Gado had his chance last week and really blew it.

Decisions like this are why the Texans are the Texans. Gado is clearly their best RB.

Based on what? Lundy is turning in another decent game today. What has Gado done this season on any team?
Why would you discount Gado's stats from last season, when he had several good games and was his team's leading rusher?
Because it doesn't help his point.

Yes it does -- if he had said "Gado is clearly their best RB because he led the Packers in rushing last year, it would have been a valid support of his point.

But that is not HIS point.

Ah, so Man In The Yellow Hat chooses to make his points by ignoring pertinent data. Gotcha.

And by the way. Gado had a nice stretch of games last season, but that isn't relevant at all now. He struggled to pick up the new zone blocking scheme in Green Bay, and was traded to a team running the same damn scheme in Houston. Mostly because Mike Sherman is somehow influencing personnel decisions. If you don't believe me, check out the former Packers hanging around that roster. Gado has done nothing since being tossed into the zone scheme. Nothing. He's had plenty of chances, I just don't think he'll be able to do it away from Sherman's power running game of last season.
