Pats could go 8-8 and still win this garbage division. As a Dolphins fan......i have to take what I can get. I love watching them suffer.

CRAZY STAT!!!!!The last three times the Pats lost their season opener before tonight: 2001, 2003, 2014. Just saying.
Most points and most yards ever against Bill Belichik in 23 years of coaching. No one saw this coming lolReally? I mean, Pats are elite, and it's weird to see them play pedestrian football, but the Chiefs have been one of the better teams in the AFC for the past three years. And it's week one, when teams are still settling into their groove.
Surprising, maybe, but not unheard of.
No team is unbeatable.
Punt?
Its 4th and 24 on their own 1. I'm not sure any team has ever not punted within that context.Garrapolo. But it hasn't all been on Brady. Edelman is a big loss and KC shut down Gronkowski.Wrong side of 40.....the wall comes hard and fast.
5 more years? My ###!!!!
Favre joining in via skype.Peyton calling Tom after the game. "It comes quickly buddy."
No doubt.....it’s putrid this year!!!Pats could go 8-8 and still win this garbage division.![]()
I know you're just throwing out some reverse psychology my fellow dolphin fanNo doubt.....it’s putrid this year!!!
Oh yeah. I am just having a little fun. Gotta enjoy this because it is rare.Garrapolo. But it hasn't all been on Brady. Edelman is a big loss and KC shut down Gronkowski.
Patriots will still win 12-14 games. This was possibly the best team they will face all season.Pats could go 8-8 and still win this garbage division.![]()
Absolutely especially if you don't take the raiders or steelers into accountPatriots will still win 12-14 games. This was possibly the best team they will face all season.
kind of like the team by the end of the game. Weird to see Brady those last 5-8 minutes. Boston/New England fans i totally expect it. Pretty sure there are Tom Brady jerseys burning in the parking lot right nowEmpty stadium![]()
Buffalo down?Patriots will still win 12-14 games. This was possibly the best team they will face all season.
Crazy, why?Good thing KC fired the GM who drafted Hunt...And Hill...And Peters...
Steelers perhaps. Chiefs have been dumping on the Raiders for a couple years now. They're an ascending team but the Raiders won't beat the Patriots.NutterButter said:Absolutely especially if you don't take the raiders or steelers into account
No... Veach and Reid were behind all these guys. Especially Mahomes. This isn't the Browns we're talking about. Chiefs are an upper-echelon managed team, they planned it all. Apparently Veach has been the engine behind it all for a while now.bud29 said:Good thing KC fired the GM who drafted Hunt...And Hill...And Peters...
Same can be said for the steelers if we're going off of past results. Raiders are one of the favs to win the superbowl.Steelers perhaps. Chiefs have been dumping on the Raiders for a couple years now. They're an ascending team but the Raiders won't beat the Patriots.

Not a Chiefs fan, but that wold suck.ESPN reporting Berry has a partially torn Achilles.
Will put my reply to this in the KC team thread, as it's relevant there and that thread could use some more action.SaintsInDome2006 said:Crazy, why?
Totally irreplaceable part of the defense. ####.ESPN reporting Berry has a partially torn Achilles.
Closest example since 1994 was when the Rams went for it on 4th-and-20 from their 9-yard-line while trailing by 14 with 2:44 remaining.NutterButter said:bostonfred said:Punt? Its 4th and 24 on their own 1. I'm not sure any team has ever not punted within that context.
I'm guessing he was both rusty and tentative. He hasn't done much for months, and they more than likely treated him with kid gloves in training camp. There were some reports of him getting blown up in contact drills trying to block over the summer. I think they may have toned it down some for him after that.Did anyone else think that Gronk looked really slow last night? I dont remember him being that sluggish before.
Thanks should be interesting to watch the next few games to see how he does. Another couple of outings like that and he may be the proverbial buy low. Or he could be on the fast track down due to injury after injury.I'm guessing he was both rusty and tentative.
