Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (1 Viewer)

1) Braun gets nicked with the poison, is cool and chillin' until he gets a boner from Slutty Snake. Then it starts taking effect and he's all ####ed up.

2) Baby Cersei gets the poison, and is fine until...she's having an "emotional" talk with her dad.

Lannisters get clitboners from other lannisters. It's kind of their thing. They even mentioned it in that rains of castlemeat song.

Which is odd because they don't seem like the incesty type. I guess it was different back in medieval times.

Can't help but feel the writers painted themselves in to a corner with Frankenmountain's senseless but infinite vow of silence gimmick.

Head scratchers/telegraphed moments:

- why did they lengthen the end of the Imp in the throne room. Even though it was no more than 10 seconds, it just didn't make sense;
I think it was just an artistic decision, showing how small Tyrion was in comparison to the responsibilities he now has. If they had more time overall shots like that would make more sense, but there have been several other scenes like that throughout the season that could have been better used - like maybe show some training for Arya with a knife? All of the sudden she's an expert assassin now?

Haven't they gone through like 3 different actors already? It might be that it isn't easy to have a ripped 7' 350# guy hanging around at the ready to shoot a single scene here and there, so they went the helmet/silent route so they can put just about anyone in the armor and use camera tricks, etc. to make him appear abnormally large. World's Strongest Man competitors need to train, they can't sit around in Scotland for 6 months waiting to shoot one scene, you know.

I was hoping he'd be yelling "I WILL RAPE YOU ALL!!" while smashing everyone. It's off the table now.

Sums up my thoughts exactly

One horrible thought I have is Sansa and Reek make it to the wall only to have the new leader of the watch work a deal with Ramsay to return them. That would suck beyond belief for those two but it would be in line with the way GoT messes with the characters throughout. Reek may as well hang himself if that's the way things turn out.

I have mixed feelings about this episode.

Brienne

I get that we didn't see Stannis die, but Brienne has literally no reason to allow him to live so she killed him and kept her first oath. She has to go find Sansa now once she is told that she escaped. Maybe she meets up with Sansa and Theon and they all do....... something. I feel like her character is either wasted or uselss and I'm not sure which.
other than everyone thinks that she killed Renly and he just admitted that it was him (through magic). not sure who would care at this point though... Lorris maybe?

into a corner? Maybe you should look up what that means.

I wondered if he could even audibly talk after the change - and the vow covered for the fact he couldn't talk.

How many words had the mountain said prior to this?

-Pretty sure he yelled "SWORD!!!" after Ser Lloras unhorsed him in the joust during season 1

- He MAY have said 2 words during the 2nd season when they re-cast him and he was camped out at Harrenhall (they basically showed him one time when Tywin showed up)

- He maybe said 1 sentence in the scene in season 4 when Cersei approached him to be her champion in the trial by combat

- and then he said 1 sentence when he confessed during the duel with the viper.

I guess I don't see how lack of speaking going forward is really gonna hurt the show that much.....

I thought her gameplan was to find bran/rickon? If she jumps into a snowdrift and lives then it's not for sure she'd go to the wall?

Next season better just be about Tyrion and Varys runnin thangs.

And titays.
I giggle ever time they put up the "brief nudity" warning at the start of the show. Wife sometimes gives me a lil :hifive: too.
Did they put up that warning before last night's?

"Adult language, adult situations, violence, and 7 minutes of straight-up MILF pelt...."
WITNESS HER!
"Daaaamn, Cersei...you might want to trim that. You look like you've got Tormund Giantsbane in a scissorlock."

Guess I just figured she would head for the wall because she at least knows Jon is a member of the watch.

Kinda lame that she found the self titled king and leader of the defeated army wandering through the woods after the battle was fought on an open plain.

Varys

Hated that he just showed up. Another it feels forced because we are stuck in 10 episode arcs. I don't know what I would have prefered with him showing up because I wanted him back in the story, but to just show up with no explanation at all was not my favorite part.
Varys and Tyrion were already on their way to Meereen when Jorah grabbed Tyrion in the hoor house.

I assumed that Theon and Sansa landed in a cart of hay Assasin's Creed style.
