Such a frustrating end to a frustrating season. I thought the theory behind Jon Snow's lineage was one of the more interesting subplots of the whole series, and now it may just be thrown away. Dany's story looks to be dragging out again next season. Brienne missing Sansa's distress call was a trope right out of SOA as Stannis was going to die regardless. Who knows what the hell happened to Arya. etc.
Could be wrong, but Brienne would have no idea that the fire in the window was Sansa's distress call. I believe that was for the people of Winterfell to know she was in distress. I assume the distress signal picks up with Sansa and Reek in the next season. After they jumped, they gotta go somewhere.
pretty sure youre wrong
That's fine but why would Brienne know what that sign was for? When do they go into that at all?
Dude shes standing there starin at the tower where sansa lights the candle
I just took that as an artistic shot by the director.
stop being obtuse.
Then please answer my question. Everyone wants to tell me I'm wrong, but no one will tell me when this happened and why the residents of Winterfell would tell this huge random lady that they're against the warden of the north.
They probably only had a few clean shots of that castle without having to do a billion CGI edits. I mean people lost their #### when someone left a plastic water bottle out on a table.
I really have no idea what this has to do with my question.
I'm speaking to story. Do you have an answer? Everyone seems to be conveniently avoiding trying to answer it.
Did Brienne have a scene where she was told about the light in the window?
Is Brienne hanging out with Winterfell citizens?
And again, logically speaking, why would Winterfell citizens trust this woman even if they did meet and chat? She's not from the North, so they're just going to tell her their plans to save one of their own?
