Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (3 Viewers)

What of this theory being circulated on podcasts: the many faced god people are going to be pissed that Jon came back from dead because they have somewhat of a death fetish thing.  They send Arya to Meli and have her name a replacement.

She picks.....????

Clearly Arya is on the move to kill someone, but whom?
Frey is the one who did them the dirtiest.  Plus he broke the rule of inviting someone in your home and doing them harm..... He has to pay for that.

The Faceless Men will either be hired by Cersei to kill Sansa or by Cersei to kill the Dornish womens.  Arya will be chosen for whichever one by The Faceless Men as a test to her dedication (as they know that Cersei is on the list).  I can't imagine that Martin would have Arya killing Sansa....so I vote for her going to Dorne and wiping out the Sand Snakes.

This show is much better when you don't know what's happening.  As much as I want to finish the books, I'm fine with them not coming out until after the show.

The show is pretty nuts right now. Leadership has always been a bit in question and we had the War of the 5 Kings, but even then Tywin was pretty clearly in charge. Right now, both in Westeros and the East, there is basically nobody in power. I assume the end game of the whole show is the end of the interregnum which we seems to be at it's apex.

The end game of the whole show is White Walkers v. Dragons

Iron Throne is ancillary to that story.  (Plus, with Maggie the Frog's prophecy - we can be pretty certain that Tommen dies young, further throwing the Iron Thone into chaos).

I could definitely see Arya being sent to kill Sansa or Jon. Would be  well within Martins wheelhouse.

You are assuming that. Also, one would think the WW vs Dragons still ends with kind of new leadership that brings stability or hope to the realm...or it ends in total apocalypse.

For reals... one of the best episodes of anything I can recall - from the early moving of plot with awesome cinematography and dialogue through the final scene this is what separates GoTs... that's not just movie theatre good, its movie theatre great.

Enough with Ramsey already.  It's like if Brokeback Mountain was two hours of guys banging.  Enough already, we get it.  I'm past hating his character and moved fully into annoyance at his presence.

Just seeing Sansa and Jon meet for the first time since episode 1 was epic
I can't remember myself, but in the commentary on HBO Go, they said that this is the first time they've been on screen together at all, ever. So they apparently didn't meet (on screen) even in episode 1. (Unless I misunderstood them.)

GoT is so freaking good. Dany's storylines get a little boring at times but she also gets the most awesome moments.

We keep saying Daenerys story is moving backwards.  She is a Dragon BBQ of the Khals that are gathering away from taking controll of the Dothraki horde.  Combine them with the unsullied, second Suns and by the time it's all said and done the three cities that are in open rebellion and she's ready to cross the narrow sea.

Even better if she hooks up with the new iron born and has a new fleet.
Well so much for the dragons.

No way, she was facing straight with both face and bewbs clearly visible.  Those bewbs belonged to the Breaker of Chains.
So was Cersei but they CGI'd Lena Heady's face onto a different body. It looked like the same with Khaleesi, but the body they used was spot on to Clarke.

Seems like Jon Snow could have a minor issue in rallying the northern lords - they kill deserters from the Night's Watch, and I am not too sure how they will accept the whole killed and came back to life defense.

Really good episode. This show doesn't give you many wins but it felt like a win seeing Sansa and Jon reunited. And yes it's time for Jon to take up the Stark family honor and do horrible unspeakable things to Ramsay before killing him. It really is time for Ramsay to be killed. With Littlefinger back in the game it would appear Jon will have more allies than it currently seems although Littlefinger can never be trusted.

Always love seeing Tyrion play the Game of Thrones. He does it so well. Great to see him being given a chance to do that again.

And an epic final scene with Dany and a chance for her to unleash her true power as a Khaleesi. Hopefully this means she's going to take Dothraki army back to Meereen and (finally) head to Westeros. It's long overdue for her to get there.

From next weeks preview I don't know if Littlefinger will be alive that long.  Sansa and Brienne looked pretty pissed demanding an answer if he knew about Ramsey.

How is this Iron Throne thing going to play into the main plot? Seems like a distraction that could eat up a lot of screen time.

Missandi's, "A great man once said", quoting of Tyrion was pretty funny after she rolled her eyes at him an ep or two ago when he did that and when she asked who he said, "Me... just now".

This show is so good. I would say that about 40% of the time I am not sure what the hell is going on or who people are but I still love it.

Come on.  There were some cool moments for sure - mainly Sansa and Jon meeting up.  I didn't think that would happen so soon, and that was fantastic.  Like somebody else said, I am just done with Ramsey.  To me he is just one note and uninteresting at this point.  And I get that we are supposed to be distracted by Dany's boobies, but she is still doing the same #### she was doing at the end of season one - comes out of a burning building and has Dothraki following her.  'cept now she doesn't have dragons and she is still no closer to having ships.

There is still a lot of praise for the show every week, so maybe I am in the minority.  I still dig it, but am getting pretty tired of a few story lines.  Do you guys think that it has dipped a bit, but still better than most shows?  Or do you think that it has maintained it's greatness from what I would consider it's peak of Seasons 3 and 4?

I was thinking during this episode that we've already seen the peak of Ramsay/Boltons in this series. I get the feeling Wildlings/LIttlefinger army will set things right, with Jon raping Ramsay with his sword repeatedly.

These two storylines (Ramsay and Dany) really don't move the needle for me much and tonight wasn't an exception. Add Sam/Gilly to the list of storylines that need a resolution. Soon.

IMO it is not going to play a ton into the final act.  Mostly I think it's dragons vs walkers like a lot of people thing and somebody "ends up" on the throne.  Could very well be wrong though.

Yep, I would add Arya to the list of stories that need a kick in the ###.  Feels like she has been cycling through similar stuff for a bit now too.  I just keep hoping for a boat wreck and be done with Sam and Gilly.

Also, the "next on" looks pretty cool, but I am thinking we don't get much of a resolution to the Bran flashback and the tower any time soon (maybe they are saving that for the epic episode 9 that every season seems to have?) I guess he is going to be skipping around to past/present for a bit.

####. I meant the Iron Islands. Whole lot of Greyjoy action to distract from the central stories.

Hate to say it but :this:.

I think she's done with the nudes.   After season 1 she gets a pass.
Um, her body double is Rosie Mac (@RosieMacck on twitter) She's absolutely gorgeous, and, allegedly, still a virgin, saving herself for marriage. You're welcome.

I think it's way above Season 5. I think we are making dramatic moves that need to happen to get us to the end game. And they are being executed well. In the interest of plot advancement we are losing things like the Oberyn Martell story arc, which gave us the greatest nine episode character in the series, but also avoiding some of the rambling crap from earlier seasons.
