Tell me he doesn't remind you of a certain powerful someone in this country.man Joffrey was a great villain. What a little ####
Great moment. My favorite involves the two of them as well.Enjoying the marathon on HBO. I still think one of the best moments in the whole series is when The Hound is delivering Arya to The Vail and the guard tells them that Lady Erryn is dead. When Arya busts out laughing, it absolutely kills me every single time.![]()
Hilary Clinton?Tell me he doesn't remind you of a certain powerful someone in this country.
Joffrey is far more intelligent than Trump.Tell me he doesn't remind you of a certain powerful someone in this country.

Hated going the Red Wedding and the buildups again actually. Those poor, naïve StarksI really enjoyed watching the Red Wedding and Joffrey's death again.
The Red Wedding remains the most shocking/surprising/WTF thing I have ever seen on TV.
He just wanted them to bend the kneeStannis might be the saddest character in the show.
For a non-book viewer that was absolutely shocking and devastating. Never saw that coming. Although Ned getting killed in Season 1 was also stunning. TV shows don't kill off their stars ever, much less in Season 1. When that happened you knew all bets were off with this show.I really enjoyed watching the Red Wedding and Joffrey's death again.

Honest Trailers "Stannis brooding in a dark room" cracks me up every time I see it.Stannis might be the saddest character in the show.
i think Ned's death hit me more then the Red Wedding. I think by the time the Red Wedding came i knew what GOTs was bringing, but when they killed Ned it was really nuts. I think at the time too that there wasn't any show on TV that had the balls to do that. Their only popular actor/actress coming into the show, and they kill him off 1st seasonI really enjoyed watching the Red Wedding and Joffrey's death again.

Agree plus due to the internet, I knew there was a thing called the Red Wedding and I knew it was going to be a shocking twist so all S3, I was kind of anticipating it. When Ned got killed in S1, I was like stunned. When Joff goes off script, I was like, whaaaaat? Then I was wondering who save the day at the last minute. Finally, I realized, they really are just going to kill Ned. This show gives 0 ####s.i think Ned's death hit me more then the Red Wedding. Red Wedding is what took me from a viewer who really enjoyed the show to someone obsessed with it. After that episode I started seeking out everything I could. In my mind, I was positive Rob was the star of the show moving forward, so that really threw me for a loop.I really enjoyed watching the Red Wedding and Joffrey's death again.

Ned had that effect on me. I knew the show wasn't ####### around and nobody was safe at that point. He was basically the face of the show for that 1st season.Red Wedding is what took me from a viewer who really enjoyed the show to someone obsessed with it. Yeah I didn't start watching until season 2, and I think at that point I didn't outright know he was dead, but I had a hint that he wasn't around anymore. I don't think I actually had it spoiled, but at some point a mention of Sean Bean never lasting long made the rounds.Ned had that effect on me. Why'd you skip S1?Yeah I didn't start watching until season 2, and I think at that point I didn't outright know he was dead, but I had a hint that he wasn't around anymore. I don't think I actually had it spoiled, but at some point a mention of Sean Bean never lasting long made the rounds.
This hurts my soul.Yeah I didn't start watching until season 2, and I think at that point I didn't outright know he was dead, but I had a hint that he wasn't around anymore. I don't think I actually had it spoiled, but at some point a mention of Sean Bean never lasting long made the rounds.
Wasn't purposeful. I didn't have HBO at the time and really didn't know what it was. Got HBO, started watching. Why'd you skip S1?
It's better than dissecting the damn previews, imo.I hope this season follows the books.
this kills me.Wasn't purposeful. I didn't have HBO at the time and really didn't know what it was. Got HBO, started watching.
I started late too. I don't like the fantasy genre, so I dismissed the show as that. Zombies, kings, dragons... no thanks. Then I got stuck crashing with my brother when season 4 started and everyone was obsessed with the show. I jumped in. Nothing else to do. Why not give it chance. I ended up digging it and catching up at some point. I don't think I'd have ever given the show a chance if I didn't just jump in at season 4 when the timing worked out. Everyone told me there was no way to jump in. I HAD TO start from the beginning. Well, that wasn't an option for me. I thought "I bet there's a backstory even before season 1" so what the #### is the difference. Let's give it a shot. Glad I did.this kills me.
Nothing against you, I am sure you enjoyed it fine but I just can't see ever doing this. To me this is akin to buying a book and not reading the first few chapters.
There were so many ways to have watched the first season before you started on the second but obviously water well under the bridge at this point.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/elitedaily.com/entertainment/game-of-thrones-tommen-martyn-lannister/1516262/amp/Watching s3e3 right now and Martyn Lannister sure looks like Tommen. Maybe the same actor I'm guessing.
Ohhhhhh sorry. I get the confusion. I didn't skip it like not watch it, I just meant I didn't watch it live during the original airing. Sorry, it took me a minute to see what everyone was upset about.this kills me.

I didnt have HBO at the time until between season 1 and 2 - heard it was cool so screamed through season one in a few days leading up to season 2. I did have an inkling as to what happened with Ned going into though just because you can't avoid the internet. I did watch everything and in order, though.
I'm there as well. Actually started with Hardhome because.... um, awesome.I re-watched seasons 1 thru 5 before season 6 started. Just going to re-watch season 6.
With all this talk, I've been doing s6 again and also just got to the door :(I'm there as well. Actually started with Hardhome because.... um, awesome.
Just did The Door last night.
So did I.I'm there as well. Actually started with Hardhome because.... um, awesome.

Didn't somebody post the entire joke in here the other day?"I once brought a honeycomb and a jackass into a brothel."
At some point before the show ends I really hope Tyrion gets to finish this joke.
Is it in the books? I don't think he's ever gotten to finish it on the show. Keeps being interrupted.Didn't somebody post the entire joke in here the other day?
He's tried to tell it more than once? I don't remember stuff like thisIs it in the books? I don't think he's ever gotten to finish it on the show. Keeps being interrupted.
Twice that I know of. First during his trial at the Vale and last season when him, Grey Worm and MissandeiHe's tried to tell it more than once? I don't remember stuff like this
were getting drunk together and telling jokes. Not if it's in the books only. You guys want the rest of the joke?
