Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (6 Viewers)

So this dwarf walks into a brothel with a honeycomb under his arm and a donkey.

The madam asks "what's with the honeycomb and the donkey?"

Tyrion walks into a brothel with a honeycomb and a Donkey.  

 The Madam says to him "what can we do for you" and Tyrion says "I need a woman to lay with, for mine has left me". The Madam asks "whatever for? And what's the deal with the honeycomb and the jack###?" and Tyrion says "My woman found a genie in a bottle, and he granted her three wishes. The first was for a house fit for a queen, so he gave her this damn honeycomb. The second wish was that she have the nicest ### in all the land, so he gave her this damn donkey". The Madam asks "And what about the third wish?", and Tyrion says "She asked the genie to make my d!ck hang down past my knee". "Well that one's not so bad eh?" says the Madam, Tyrion responds "Not so bad!?!?, I used to be 6'3"

I'm trying to do the same thing. Wanted to start from 3, but didn't think of doing it in time. I may not make it all the way to the end of 6, but am going to try. Tonight I'm going to try to knock out 3 episodes. 

 
I may have ventured this opinion before but the hottest gal on this show speaks 19 languages. Ran across her nude scene in the stream a few episodes back during my marathon re-watch. roadkill want.

 
Rewatched many of the episodes during the marathon.  :D

Tyrion has a ton of great lines, but Bronn is hilarious (love those two).

Daenerys storyline has some highlights, but drags in a lot of places.

Watching Cersei smile smugly while Joffrey got worse and worse made me think that her "Shame" didn't come soon enough.

There are numerous references to future events that I didn't notice at all (or forgot), the first time around.

Theon might be the most tortured character in TV history.

They could have  a "Brienne of Tarth" or "The Hound" spinoff, and I would never miss watching either.

Wanted to second how enjoyable the Bronn character is.

 
Battle of the Bastards is my absolute favorite episode of this show. It's got Dany dealing with the masters as they attack from slavers bay, the ultimate battle between Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton, the meeting with Theon and his sister when they align with Dany and ultimately Ramsey getting to spend some quality times with his dogs. Just so many great moments. 

I just wish stupid Sansa would have accepted Littlefingers offer of troops when he first offered them, instead of being whiny and telling him to leave. So many more wildlings would have lived.

Not saying the Starks wouldn't have won anyway, but a big part of the win was that the Bolton's didn't expect the knights of the Vail to show up like they did. 

If he knew the Starks had also those extra horses, he doesn't commit his entire force to encircle the battle like he did. Hell, he may not have engaged them in the field at all. (Instead forcing a long siege)

The battle only went that way because Ramsay knew/ thought he had the numbers.

And I knew when that scene happened that she was telling the woman a prophesy that she would make happen.

watched this episode last night. 

aside from jon throwing their best laid plans out the window and charging single-handedly, and rickon not serpentining... just an amazing episode. that battle was absolutely epic- put you right in the mix in a way I can't ever remember seeing before (maybe opening part of private ryan). 

and yeah- sansa just saying... listen, I sent a raven to the vale asking for troops that were offered. let's wait a day or two and see if they show up... would've saved a lot of lives. plus the last second rescue is a major cliche (I always think of galaxy quest and the count-down going to 1 in spite of their fixing it before hand).

rewatching S6- Brienne needed more screen time... she was always amazing, and her character sooo well written. Looking forward to seeing more of the Hound's redemption.

I don't mind the non-serpentine too much / probably just trying to get away as fast as possible and what are the odds of getting hit regardless?  My bigger issue is the pile of bodies - with how many men we're dealing with and how long the battle has been going, that was goofy af.

noticed that this time too... plus they're piled up in donut shapes, which is strange.

Just watched the last 4 episodes. What's great about the show is even the minor charactors are good. Lady Mormont and Lady Tyrell Stood out as two women (or girl and old crone) that I would not want to mess with.

 
My girlfriend is absolutely addicted to this show. We were talking last night and she was pointing out how so many women are in power and how many strong female characters there are on this show. I never thought about it until she pointed it out. There are a ton of them.

I had noticed, of course, it's just that she pointed out to me how the women's power is building. The examples you listed are all true, but you also have a woman leading the Tyrell's and a woman leading Dorne. By the end of this season there might not be any men in charge.

My wife, who has actually read the books unlike me, has always said she thought this story ends with women taking everything over.

Body piles in war are fairly historically accurate though.. They mentioned one American Civil War battle specifically and the Battle of Agincourt as inspirations for it. 

I'm not going to say it didn't look weird.....but I'm sure there's a lot in war that looks weird.

Over days of fighting with thousands upon thousands dead.  For some reason everyone in this battle died in the same spot. 

It's fine, it's just kinda goofy. If you check out a screenshot, there's this huge pile of bodies and everything else is cleared out and empty.

I think it was just the murder zone that Ramsey kept firing into (even disregarding his own soldiers). I thought I counted like 8 volleys.  That would suck.

Again, I'm not saying the concept of a body pile-up is bad.  I'm saying with the amount of people and time this battle had going on, it's a little goofy that everyone died on top of each other.  Look at the picture below / how did everyone pileup in a huge line 20 ft high with only a few scattered bodies everywhere else?  Other than this huge orgy, the rest looks cleaner than the fairways last weekend.  Idea is fine in theory, poorly executed.  It doesn't detract from my enjoyment, I liked the episode, it was just unnecessary.

Eh, that's just one shot of the battle field, but ok.  What's more goofy is that Bolton arrives at Winterfell by horse just before Snow arrives on foot after fighting an exhaustive battle and somehow also dispatching a host of archers.
