Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (2 Viewers)

Because he knows he took over Winterfell and killed some people close to him after Theon was raised at Winterfell pretty much like a brother to him.

Seriously?

He only sacked Winterfell, and publicly showed bodies that were declared to be Bran and Rickon (it was a lie, but he claimed to have killed them)

Well, there was the whole betray Robb, take Winterfell, behead Master at Arms Ser Roddrick, and kill a couple of kids and passed them off as his brothers...  but other than that, I can't think of a thing.

@modogg's post got me thinking about over analyzing little looks and comments, and I will throw out my other dumb little theory and twist I have come to because of doing just that:

Sansa is slowly turning to Cersei and might just betray the Starks.  Been through a bunch of trauma, said something about learning a lot from Cersei, had an odd look on her face when Arya said Cersei was on her list, and Bran seems to be cooler towards her than her sister (maybe he saw something that she will do or has done?). 

Somebody said maybe Tyrion is a double agent, I guess this is my Stark version of that...

No way.

The Starks will stick together until the end, even if it leads to their death. That's who their father raised them to be. 

I think the look from Sansa was just realizing the Arya is not the same person and in order to get back to Winterfell Arya had to have gone through some #### too.

Also, part of this stems from me not thinking the Starks will be together for much longer too.  I think Sansa and maybe Bran stay at WF, Arya goes south and Jon goes north.

If Jon heads North - and I agree he will - there's no reason for Sansa to betray him. She'll be the warden of the North.

Part of me thinks Arya's destiny is to the south, with Littlefinger's face in her bag. Then again, the story just handed her a valyrian steel weapon. Maybe she's now got the skills to take out some White Walkers with that thing.

 
this might be a bit of a spoiler, but i heard it on a podcast:

Big theory that Jon snuck into the cave before taking Danny in there and drew the pictures on the walls before she got there to convince her to fight the walkers   :ph34r:

 
Funny seeing the Dothraki leader mocking the Lannisters to Tyrion. Dragon aside, they got destroyed. 

Why did Tyrion upset when his side was winning? They just got embarrassed twice.  Now they're finally kicking some butt and he's pouting? Smh

He's watching his own family members get torn to shreds. Even for someone like Tyrion that's a lot to watch unfold.

I think Jamie is dead. They showed it. I don't think the series has done the 'he jumped out of the car before it went off the cliff' type of thing yet. Hound was closest but every other time a death is shown, it's done.

I also think Dragon number 1 is dead. Anti-aircraft thing did it's job. 3 dragons vs. undead is too easy. All sides keep taking their lumps.

Nice job of Dothraki hoard using the teleporter to somehow get west of King's Landing unnoticed, and at the same time the first-priority gold arrives. Surprised the geography and timing not complained about yet. 

Even if not the best battle of the series since it shared the episode, it was totally edge of seat and I loved not knowing what was going to happen or who was going to bite it.

i am utterly amazed at what people complain about this show. What would happen if they took the 10 or so episodes they have left in the entire series and spent them showing us how Dothraki got there, or how Theon's uncle made all those ships and found them? Yes, please less Drogon and more watching people travel

honestly feels like we don't deserve anything good like this series. there were 80 good things in the episode and maybe 2 bad things, so we spend 90% of the time discussing those 2 things

Ditto. In the past we've had storylines (like Arya and her Faceless Man training) that dragged on and on and on. No more. #### is happening and it's all happening now. I love it. Let's get right to the fun stuff.

Also, has Jon ever seen the circular designs the white walkers have  left in the snow that matched the drawings on the walls? If not, how would he know to draw them?

They always do The Wall, Winterfell and Kings Landing.  I guess they're doing Pyke and Old Town because people from there are intregal to the story going foreward.

Was the first thing I thought of too, but we were all probably just too high.  They looked pretty fresh though.

I think some of the disconnect is that I would say that the people criticizing the pace also think the the one on one scenes and characters are/were the fun stuff.  I didn't start watching GoT for the epic battles and dragons.  It would have been a disappointing show if that was the case. 

I am pretty sure that nobody wants endless training montages and Ramsey torture scenes, but I think the complaints mostly stem from people loving the show and not understanding what the damn rush is to wrap this thing up is - most would be perfectly happy with another 5 seasons.  Sure there have always been some timing and Varys geography issues, but IMO there just feels like more and more of "let's do A, B, and C" because we need to get to D by episode 5 and nevermind if it makes sense in this world.  It feels like a slightly different show is all.

..says the guy who pointed out that it seemed weird that Brienne would wail on little Arya like that.  ;)

His brother was about to die.  Plus, he likely knew some of the soldiers and they couldn't all be #######s. 

Think of it like Kit plowing over Dotty at home plate.
