Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (20 Viewers)

Really minor quibble...none of these shows get movement in and around water right...from the bronn/Jamie dive into the bottomless Rivers edge, to how sail boats move. The latter is only a personal issue with this and other shows, and doesn't detract form the story telling

Agree.  She should have easily flown around, out of range and scoped things out.

Why.  They just fought a war where they fully expected to die and somehow lived.  And they were drunk.  Short term love affairs have occurred as a result of so much less.

The, the crossbows are on pivots, so looks like they can swing around wherever she flies, even if the boats can only really go downwind.

My problem was with her not seeing the boats, even though she was up in the air. No way they see her first.

In general I find Brienne awkward, it's part of her charm.  The awkward was compounded for me more so since I didn't believe that would end well for her.

I think they can pivot but they can't go straight up. If she dive bombs them, she will wipe them out

I mean he's a super pirate who has spent his entire career evading detection. Just because he's worse than the sand snakes wrapped in a ollie and faith militant sandwich with a dash of mace tyrell doesn't mean that he can't find a sneaky spot to park his boats if he's got months to plan for the dragons that are coming.

Also, who's the traitor.  No way for Euron to be waiting at Dragonstone unless someone informs them that Dany is on her way..... also she's a pretty terrible recon agent.  She has dragons that can fly hundreds of feet in the air and allow her to see for miles, yet Euron still gets the drop on her?   Terrible.

I agree that the ambush was dumb, how do you not scout ahead thousands of feet up.

But Dragonstone is the logical staging area for an assault on King's Landing imo. That's no surprise.

Hard to say at this point. Was one of my (if not my favorite) character as of late - be disappointed if he swings back to Cersei. I hope that’s not the case ...

He does know that she’s carrying HIS child though - that’s kindve a big deal I suppose.

He's vengeful.  He has come to grips with all the awful he did for her and her repayment was sending Bronn to kill him.

Hes going to the capital to kill her and doesn't expect to live in the process. In saying goodbye to Brienne like that he was saying goodbye to the possibility of life and the happiness that Tyrion said he saw in him.

He's vengeful, just like her.

 
My theory is that arya was wearing a pretty girl face ar the celebration so she could find out pod's trick and then when gendry saw her she wasn't  just bow armed she was bow legged.

I think he feels responsible for her/tied to her fate. Even he doesn't know what he'll do when he arrives but he'll end up taking her out to save thousands...just like he did when he became the Kingslayer. Just my guess.

There are plans, and there's getting the drop- somehow- on the only aerial reconnaissance there is. Plus if he's hiding in a sneaky spot until they spot the dragons, they're all of a sudden under full sail in the exact same moment they do?

I don't mind them shooting down a dragon in a frontal attack or in defense after a dragon attack- makes more. It's the sneaky stuff that felt poorly written.

I think that's the writer's rope-a-dope. They want us to think everything's turning against Dany and that she'll fall into the old tyrant trap. 

But imo, from a meta/macro perspective...rewatching this epic series will be trash if all the badass, feel good Dany moments end the way they're trending right now. I get that people think that's the gritty, dark ending the show is built for...but imagine finding joy in the scene where she gets the dragons...or torches the slavers and frees the unsullied...or Mysa....etc etc in the future if her ultimate end is as the Mad Queen who had to be betrayed by those loyal to her for the good of the realm? It hurts the future viability of the whole story imo and would seriously damage it's legacy unless I'm sorely mistaken. It would ruin her whole arc if things go the way they're leading us to believe. She's a pop culture icon and that would tarnish everything imo. 

I think she does the right thing and is the wheel breaking good guy ruler they deserve after Jon dies or gives up his claim and lives out his days North of the wall. 

I think a Sansa/Tyrion duo is actually best for the realm but I don't really see how they could pull that off while giving Dany's arc a satisfying conclusion. Plus Sansa seems pretty tied to the North only now.

I really didn't love how they changed Bronn's personality.  No way he hits Tyrion like that after all they have gone through together.  Jamie leaving in the night was a completely 180 from where they had him. I REALLY can't wait for the new Wick to drop.

Dracarys is what Daenerys says to the dragons when she wants them to breath fire. 

 
OK, thanks.  Guess it's my "it's too dark" for the week that I couldn't understand what she said.  Seemed like someone else didn't either since he put a question mark on there.

I like this.

It reflects how I felt during the 1st private scene between Dany and Jon.

At first, I believe she was lying in a sense (e.g. over-playing her love and facial expressions). Then, when Jon was not reacting the way she had hoped, she went to the truth - well - at least closer to the truth, imo.

Dany is my 2nd fav arc to Jaime, and I would really like to see them both played out well.
