Game Thread - ATL @ MIN (1 Viewer)

If Norwood doesn't start next week & get 75% of the carries, Petrino must be trying to lose games, LOL. No excuse for not giving Norwood the bulk of the carries, IMO. The difference in talent between the two is ridiculous.

I am really wondering what has happened to the defense?

They had the Falcons pinned to thier own GL and 3rd and long. Now just letting them move down the field? Whats up?

despite harrington, the playcalling has been great on this drive for atlanta. both rbs have made some nice cuts and moves, and the falcon's coordinator is simply outgaming our defensive coordinatoreta: point is our defense is still playing fine.

  I've got Norwood in a ton of leagues...:fingerscrossed:

I have to say, Tarvaris doesn't look lost at all. Still having trouble with the deep ball.

Overall, I'm encouraged by this game.

my take as well. very happy w/ how this is going. he missed a wide open rice for a big play and did a little schoolyard overhead toss, but otherwise he's been better than i thought. this is how we have to play to win and we're doing it.

Atlanta's Offense is working out the kinks. Harrington looked pretty solid during the first scoring drive in the 4th (FG at 9:43). We'll see how he runs the 2 minute drill in this one, I think...

I will hopefully get to at least see that on the highlight reels.

AD must have been pissed off for losing yardage for the 1st time in the game on his previous carry before taking it 60 yards for 6.

"Why would they want to draft Peterson when they already had Taylor, a 1200 yard rusher last year, on the roster?"

Now you know.

That was Jackson's first TD pass of the year too.

This is why I won't win this year - I didn't have the nerve to start AP in Week 1 and now I'm gonna pay for it!! Happy to see he's going to help me out a lot this year. I don't have the game - did he look awesome?

He has the intangibles. Prescense, sight, and speed.

He looks like a stallion. A genuine thoroughbred.

having and playing the minn d in two different leagues I am mixed, but as a falcons fan it's gonna be a long year. Harrington 2007 might get sacked more than Carr 2006.

Itf Tarvaris learns how to throw and Rice develops into a good/great receiver this team could be a lot better than I thought.

I still think this is Atlanta. They don't hit the rocky part of the schedule until week 5.

Did ADP return kicks in the preseason? With his history with injuries WHY IN THE WORLD do they have him doing this?

He looks like the TRUTH! Any news on Chester? PLEASE tell me he broke something! LOL jk

All the AD haters are gonna get real quiet real quick. I am absolutely ecstatic to have this kid on my team. Can you say Championship

The Falcons when presented with decent field position, was driving the ball but they couldn't finish & too many mistakes. Joey Harrington looks scared out there.

even going back to his days with the Lions, it seems like Harrington can't leave Minnesota without having 1 or 2 INT's returned for a TD.

in a keeper league i was late to the draft I autodrafted LJ (would not have taken him-way down on chiefs this year) now that it looks like he might be actually having his load lightened with bennet to, I am offering an LJ for AP swap.
