Game Thread - Divisionals - Carolina V Chicago (1 Viewer)

Rex Grossman looks a helluva lot better than ALL those other inexperienced QBs combined.

Hell, he looks better than 'the great' Peyton Manning and Tom Brady this weekend.
:lmao: :lmao: Good one Grid!

Re: Rex--a great effort by a young QB with a lot of promise. Hope his teammates help him see the bright side of this game.
I think it's a good thing that he isn't afraid to fire one in there when it's a close call and trust his ability and receiver. Too many guys just check down to their safety valve every time because they are too timid and have no confidence. :JoeyHarrington:

this gameThe Bears sucks.
Fixed.
It never gets old does it. Every week in Bears in-game threads talking ####.You need to get a life guy  :bye:
I've been in maybe three Bears threads all year. Your hyperbole is rejected. I said they'd be one in done in the playoffs if they even made it. Let's revisit this prediction at the end of this game shall we?
Hi!How does it feel to lose to a team on their 2nd road game in the playoffs when you are @home coming off a bye?

One and done.

:bye:

Not a good ending there....This was a very entertaining game - right up to the end.

Gonna be a good game!!! Lot's of defense!!!!

Go Bears!!!!!

Bears 23

Panthers 10
:bag: :bag: :bag: Congrats to the Panthers, you beat the Bears on both sides of the Ball !!!!!

The better team won today.

Good luck against the Seahawks.

Good game, nice to see a game that the better team one and there isnt any questions about it.... ie blown calls or injured stars

Never would have guessed after the first couple of weeks that the bears would have gotten this far. Very nice run. Congrats panthers and fans.

That was a good game. Great second half. I hated the Panthers lost Deshaun Foster, and I hope Peppers can play next week. As for the Bears, I think they will be even better next year. Grossman looks like he has the potential to become a really good NFL quarterback. For someone with not much experience starting, he played a good game.

Thanks for the update... I find it funny that someone who cheers for teams based on which fans he likes better can talk as much #### as you do. Stay classy

Thought Foster would of been the difference today. Can't believe Smith wasn't double/tripled all game. I'm hoping Berrian continues to improve and Mark Bradley makes a speedy recovery as the Bears need a home run threat at WR. Moose is a nice big target, but has stone hands (nice jump ball guy) and doesn't get consistent seperation. Gage plays like he's 5'10 vs. 6'3/4.Congrats to any Panther fans we have here.

It's all he has. He's like that little nerd that sat behind you in the back of class in grade school constantly poking you in the back with a pencil. It's sad really. :lmao:

Congratulations Panthers fans. You have the better team. I'm proud of my Bears this season but we just don't have what it takes to get to a Super Bowl, YET.

Congrats Panther fans -- great showing today. Steve Smith made the Bears D look like a high school squad. Good luck the rest of the way.

Peanut Tillman's inability to cover Steve Smith....The decision to line up 2nd year scrub Chris Thompson on a 2nd and 20 across from Steve Smith......and the inability of the Bears D-Line....all added up to a Bears defensive letdown.Great game by the Panthers, and their entire coaching staff today. Now go kick the crap out of the Seahags!

I won't go that far but as a Bears fan I have to admit that the Panther O dominated us today. Great game, aside from a couple of miscues from the Bears secondary, it could have gone the other way.Good job Carolina...you played the better game today...beware the Bear in 2006.

Peanut Tillman's inability to cover Steve Smith.... ANYBODY down the field
Helped you out. Peanut looked good before this season, but he's proven he can't handle the speed receivers down the field. Looking good vs. a possession receiver like Moose in practice is a lot different than handling 4.3 All-Pro's. Maybe the coaching staff isn't seeing this.Steve Smith should of been doubled (if not tripled) all game. Look what the Packers did during the regular season to Smith (You never saw less than 2 guys on him). I don't mean to say someone in the league CAN cover Steve Smith right now, but Peanut is coming close to overtaking over Walt "Toast" Harris's old nickname. The coaching staff did not do him any favors today either.
