Game Thread - Divisionals - New England V Denver (1 Viewer)

Man if it wasn't for that bad PI call, it could be 6-0 NE now. The PI led directly to the TD, and indirectly since the ensuing KO-fumble never would have happenned.

Most people don't know this, but Dan Marino asctually has an IQ of 78. Below 70 is considered mentally handicapped.

It may be "funny," but I'm not kidding.

Really.
How do you know that?Guy has pretty good restaurants down here in Florida.

Seriously?I have no idea what Dan Marino's IQ is.

I really need to explain sarcasm to you? I thought you were one of the vets here.Feed goal Broncos!

Is this the same defense that Byron Leftwich picked apart for long stretches last week?
Jax moved the ball some but they only scored 3 points. I dont think Leftwich exactly picked apart the secondary.

Funny how the Pats hardly ever seem to get sacks...except when they really need them.
On the third and seventeen in the first half, and the third down to Rod Smith this half, the Pats sent three linemen and dropped eight in coverage. On the third down stop on the Broncos' first drive, and the third down stop right there, they sent five. It's a little infuriating when they send three and get beat, but I guess if they always sent five, it wouldn't work.

Isn't it great how one play can turn the game?

Broncs are in trouble. They can't run, and Plummer is starting to look more rattled as the game has gone on.
I will agree with this.Plus, the D is shaky.

As I say that, Brown with a 30 yard reception.

I'm not usually looking to you for sarcasm.

Brady is looking rather rattled himself.
He is? He has over 220 yards in the third quarter, and just sidestepped a blitzer to complete a 40 yard pass.

Funny how Simms says "when you do trick plays they don't always have to go for TDs."In his book he says Parcells always used to yell him when they'd call a trick play and he'd check off to a WR 5 yards off the LOS. "Simms if I wanted you to throw the ball 5 yards that's not what I'd call!"

Has overthrown and short armed critcal passes that led to 4 down instead of first down/TD

Oh. So you mean that the Broncos' blitz works sometimes. Carry on.

These refs are HORRID. This is the second time that they didn't get the false start call prior to someone getting hit.

Big difference between 5 and 25 yard play. The ball was in the air at least 15 of those yards.

Brady typically handles those situations extremely well and hits the WR.

Pats need to stretch the field a little and get some of the Broncos off the line of scrimmage.

Flea flicker would be nice, that is if the Pats can give Brady more than a second to throw..........
