Conclusive enough to overturn it?Me too.Pats ball at the 20. That was my first thought after seeing that tackle.
he was tired - he wasnt showboatingI don't know if Bailey was tired or what, but I've been dying for a long time to see one of these guys showboating towards the goalline get served.
Reminds me of that kick return by Dante Hall against the Browns two years ago when he had a clear TD with a huge escort and they let some Brownie run up behind him and trip him up.What happened to his escort???25 blew the block.Absolutely challenge. Looks like a touchback. Why didn't someone see him and hit him?
He ran a crazy 40 at the combine. No kidding. That play against the Jaguars last week was incredible. He was outrunning DB's then, too.watson=speed
Wasn't showboating, but that was overly lazy tired or not.he was tired - he wasnt showboatingI don't know if Bailey was tired or what, but I've been dying for a long time to see one of these guys showboating towards the goalline get served.
Me too, but he wasn't showboating. Just assumed he could waltz in.I don't know if Bailey was tired or what, but I've been dying for a long time to see one of these guys showboating towards the goalline get served.

Nice pick Champ25 peeled off to get guy sneaking up from behind...if 61 had gotten THAT guy, DB could have sniped watson...What happened to his escort???25 blew the block.Absolutely challenge. Looks like a touchback.
Bailey interception, two yards deep in the end zone. Runs it back 100 yards, Bailey slows up, Watson catches him, and knocks it out the back of the end zone. The refs rule it down on the 1, and confirm it after replay.I'm just watching it on gamecenter. Anyone want to give me a run down of the play?
Time to break out the lucky pickle god.BS call! Freaking Touchback!!
great the refs now give Patriots fans another thing to ##### aboutThat sounds kinda sick.![]()

Time to break out the lucky pickle god.
That was my first reaction too, but seriously, which replay conclusively reverses that call?BS call! Freaking Touchback!!
WhyBroncos should've run the clock down to the 4th quarter before scoring.
i agreewhat an incredible play by Watson.

I really don't understand how a NFL CB could get tired going 100 yards. I would hope he was in better shape than that.He may have been tired, but absolutely no reason for him to be holding the ball like that.
If you're talking about the pass int. before, they have a right to ##### about that. Horrible call.great the refs now give Patriots fans another thing to ##### about
Agreed.the skycam was useless there, we needed a camera right on top of the goalline
Think it will make much difference now? NE couldn't get in the endzone tonigth if it was the cheapest date on the planet.Broncos should've run the clock down to the 4th quarter before scoring.
That was my thought as well. I think he just thought he could cruise in for the TD.I really don't understand how a NFL CB could get tired going 100 yards. I would hope he was in better shape than that.He may have been tired, but absolutely no reason for him to be holding the ball like that.
Yup.Edit: I'm shocked that there wasn't a better camera angle on that. Should have been something conclusive. Now a minimum of 14 of the Broncos' 17 points are tainted.
Also, how was that book? I was meaning to get it.Big difference between 5 and 25 yard play. The ball was in the air at least 15 of those yards.Funny how Simms says "when you do trick plays they don't always have to go for TDs."
In his book he says Parcells always used to yell him when they'd call a trick play and he'd check off to a WR 5 yards off the LOS. "Simms if I wanted you to throw the ball 5 yards that's not what I'd call!"
There wasn't one. No good angles were shown on TV to overturn the call. That was my first reaction too, but seriously, which replay conclusively reverses that call?BS call! Freaking Touchback!!
Agreed.the skycam was useless there, we needed a camera right on top of the goalline
Tainted?Honestly, snorlax, you're better than that. You can't prove Bailey's fumble one way or another. Now a minimum of 14 of the Broncos' 17 points are tainted, and New England is out of challenges for the refs' seemingly inevitable next missed call.
Fixed it for ya.Bailey interception, two yards deep in the end zone. Runs it back 100 yards, Bailey slows up, Watson catches him, and knocks it out the back of the end zone inside the one. The refs rule it down on the 1 and confirm it after replay.I'm just watching it on gamecenter. Anyone want to give me a run down of the play?
Mike Anderson runs it in for a TD.
I know very little about camera setup for football games, but I imagine the fact that the play started at the other end of the field probably killed the Pats shot to get a good replay.Agreed.the skycam was useless there, we needed a camera right on top of the goalline
Champ Bailey makes a pick in the EZ:I'm just watching it on gamecenter. Anyone want to give me a run down of the play?
Runs it back for what looks like a sure TD:
Gotta set the Pats up for all the excuses they'll sling out after the game.Nice run by Watson though on the overhead cam. He even had to get around the ref.Now a minimum of 14 of the Broncos' 17 points are tainted, and New England is out of challenges for the refs' seemingly inevitable next missed call.
Wow. You should see the replay of Watson cutting down Bailey. Pathetic (for BAiley).I really don't understand how a NFL CB could get tired going 100 yards. I would hope he was in better shape than that.He may have been tired, but absolutely no reason for him to be holding the ball like that.
The thing is that the ref didn't say the replay was inconclusive, implying that the call on the field was conclusively shown to be correct. If the ref meant to say that the replay was inconclusive, he should've said that. That was my first reaction too, but seriously, which replay conclusively reverses that call?BS call! Freaking Touchback!!
No offense, but in the regular season, we don't care about your fantasy team.In the playoffs, multiply that by about 1000.I've got the Denver D in my playoff league---I needed that 6 from Bailey.
Great, now the Anderson owner get's the 6. Thanks to Bailey's dogging it, a 12 point swing.
Watson added to my Top 10 TE list for sure....i agreewhat an incredible play by Watson.
