Game Thread - Divisionals - Washington V Seattle (1 Viewer)

Thank you for th epenalty on a hopeless play, Seattle.
If he didn't bump Moss there, was there any safety back there? I didn't see any on the replay. Might have been a smart penalty.

Now THAT was a terrible call. Moss can run a DB over and it is illegal contact on Seattle? Um, okay.
Another great example of your bias. You cannot just jump in a defenders way and stand still.

Yeah 14 points against one of the top offenses in the league is just terrible
An offense that is missing their best player who also just happened to be the MVP of the entire NFL.
The Redskins defense is great? :lmao: They're good, but certainly not great. The Redskins aren't even a playoff contender in the AFC.
To be fair, there are probably two teams in the AFC West alone that didn't make the playoffs but are better than all but 2 (maybe 3) in the entire NFC.
Assuming you're talking about KC and SD, their combined record against the NFC was 3-5 this year.
:own3d:
...All 5 losses against the same 3 teams. Hardly a broad sample of the NFC.

How did those 3 teams fare?

Does anyone really care if someone else does or doesn't hate the Redskins?Let's stick to reporting on all the Seahawks fumbles. That should keep us busy.

Good God that's right. :X I'm sick over it. Washington would not even be in this game.

NYG, DAL, PHI. Strangely, WAS was 5-1 against these three. They were 5-5 against everybody else in the NFL.By contrast, KC and SD were 3-5 against the NFC; 2 of those 3 were wins over WAS. They were 16-8 against everybody else in the NFL. Strange stuff. If I could set a matchup, I'd still take even money on either team against anybody in the NFC.

Getting 0 points on that last possession is by far the worst thing the Redskins have done today. It will be tough to come back from that.

Hall from 36 yards out...
I knew it!It's 2000 all over again.
I can't find it quickly, but I'm pretty sure he missed a 36 or 37 yarder in the final minute against the Lions in week 16 to cost the Jets a playoff berth.
The Jets, who already posted four come-from-behind fourth-quarter wins this season, mounted yet another late rally. Testaverde led New York to the Detroit 17-yardline by completing four-of-eight passes for 50 yards. The Jets looked to Hall to tie the score as he attempted a 35-yard field goal with 12 seconds left on the clock, only to see it sail wide and short.http://www.detroitlions.com/document_displ...m?cont_id=38785

That kick was from the left hash IIRC, while this one was on the right side. But Hall's always had problems with the mid-range FGs (35-45) and he usually goes wide left--like today.

Yeah, the 2 time defending champs got awfully lucky posting those back to back 17-2 championship seasons.
:bye:
It must really be tough being a JETS fan. I cant even imagine. Good luck with that.
Try remembering what is was like to be a Patriots fan in 1990.
Been there, done that. I was a season ticket holder then. I had put it out of my mind until you just brought it back to the surface.

Take one guess on that one. ;)
I'm  but then again there havent been many of your posts over the last few days that have made any sense.

Wash was 5-1 against their division, 5-1 vs other NFC teams and 0-4 vs the AFC. Still curious as how they win the AFC North.

And what was Washington's record against the AFC this season?
I'll answer. The Redskins were 0-4 against the AFC, with losses to Denver, Kansas City, San Diego, and the scary Oakland Raiders.

The Chargers and Raiders game were home games for the Skins.

Meanwhile, both the Steelers and Bengals manhandled the #2 seed in the NFC by a combined score of 45-16.

Yep, the Redskins would've won the AFC North.
