despite it being the game tying FG, i agree with this. worst case: they get stuffed and the skins get the ball at the 1. that's putting them in a great spot for either a safety or getting the ball back on a short field. best case: they get a TD and the lead.

Worst case, with THIS offense is not getting a better opportunity to tie the game. After being stuffed on previous possessions from the GL, why would they go for it here?

With an inept offense you can't figure on getting the points later. You take what you can get. Normally I would agree it was a weak call, watching the Dolphins over the last few years I was relieved to see them get the 3.
