Coly cow! Branch was completely covered and Deion Branch somehow catches the ball. That could've been an INT just as much as a catch. Went right thru the defenders hands.

If the Pats win and Brady gets the MVP, it will be a load of ####. Branch has been the Pats MVP.
WTF are you talking about. Branch hasn't had to make specatular catches. Brady has put the ball in his hands every time!

Pinkston isn't going to get past this. Eagle fans are going to crucify him- especially with TO playing well.
He might be a stooge, but Pinkston was having a good game before he got hurt. Freddie Mitchell is much more worthy of scorn tonight for his MIA performance.
When has mitchell ever shown up? Can't be mia if you are not there in the first place.

Im not really all that interested in either team. I just don't understand why the "2 out of 3 Super Bowl wins, and favored by a TD" team is mocking the otherteam. It just strikes me as odd.Colin
Face it. You are obsessed with the Patriots.

what, was there no water in the Iggles' camp this week? Now KeARSE IS down with a cramp.......Not gonna compare Kearse to Pinky Winky thoughI thought that break might get Corey Dillon in again.... No TD though

You do realize that Tom Brady threw every one of the balls that Branch caught, right? Not that I necessarily disagree with you. If the Pats hold on to win, and nothing significant happens, I think Branch would be a great choice for MVP. But, I wouldn't call it crazy if the guy throwing all those balls was considered either. Brady's thrown all those balls to Branch, as well as the other WRs, plus managed the game as a whole.

Ah so of course the fact that Branch caught them is all because of Brady and the fact that Branch has been the difference maker most of the game, it's all because of Brady.

Eagles are still in big trouble. Need 10 points in the last 8 minutes? Against the Patriots? Would be a pretty shocking collapse by New England.

It would be if he was making circus catches all day. Brady has been spot on with the ball to Branch.

So no receiver should ever be MVP?

A case could be made for a Brady MVP, but for he's done tonight, it seems (to me) that he's done it 'quietly'. Branch is really the only one that's a stand out. Tying the record for receps (probably breaking it before this is over), that super catch a few mins ago. I'd go with Branch.

I still would like to see the MVP voters retroactively correct the wrongs of Brady being the past SB MVPs anyway. The o-line (who gave up ZERO SACKS in the playoffs last year) should've collectively gotten it and the defense the time before.

I would still go with Brady. He has been really accurate tonight. He has looked off the Philly DBs all night long....

I don't really see anybody standing out that much. 11-133-0 is a good game but not exactly historic. It should probably go to somebody from the NEP DEF.

Actually, it is historic. The 11 receptions is a Super Bowl record (the annoucers did say that, right?).
