Game Thread - Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears (1 Viewer)

I really hope Collinsworth rips on Reid for the lack of game adjustments and non challenge calls. The lack of holding calls ( cole is getting held every other play )

OT but ouch on that Boldin hit. Hope he recovers well
K.O.'ed but all the tests came back negative (& he's lucky - Mt Sinai is as good a facility as there is on the planet).Probably won't let him travel for a few days. Wait & see on next week...

Semi OT.

How long do you think the eagles FO keeps Reid and the staff around? I honestly don't see them around much longer, at least Marty Morenwheg(sp?). I really have no idea who they are going to groom as a HC right now on that staff either.

For a guy with knees made of pretzels, that was a damn nice run

Goodnight, this game is over.

Well if anyone has a dynasty and wanted to see how Booker would do, tonight is the time. ( fyi, booker was hyped up by the eagles pr machine to be the next coming of westbrook this offseason )

Yea that int was on McNabb, Jackson went to continue his original route but McNabb thought he would stay on the current route, thus INT to a wide open safety. Good pass though.

Pressure on Orton, causes a INT to a wide open Mikel in the end zone. Downed it, eagles ball at the 20

*Points and laughs.*

You sharks had the Bears pegged...

Bear's QB will be abysmal.

Forte will be a bust.

Hester won't succeed at WR.

Ect.
Ah come on, this game is something from the twilight zone, the eagles look like absolute crap and are making Orton look like Elway out there
Eh, Orton is beginning to make himself like Orton. Actually Elway threw a ton of picks for most his career.. I think hehas the record for most Super Bowl interceptions. So Orton is fitting on both sides of the Elway equation.

Buckhalter taken back to the locker room for x rays

Lower back contusion.

Eagles have one RB now.

Not looking good. McNabb pressing and tossing to Jackson in double coverage.

Nice punt by Rocca, bad decision by Hester.

On one hand, I can't comprehend a team going into a game with only 2 HB active (or at least a FB who could play some HB), but on the other hand I'm sure glad that neither back is named Reno Mahe.

That was a helmet-to-helmet hit by briggs. I love how they show the replay like 5 times and the commentators still can't pick it up...........

Watching LoBooker miss a block, slip on a draw play, and alligator arm a short pass with no one near him, I can totally understand why he got zero tuches until Buckhalter went down.

2nd half D inspired. 2 TO's and a 3 and out. Chicago has 0 first downs in 3 possessions.

Iggles got the rock at the 35 and the 28 of Chicago. They scored 3 points. Get well soon, Andrews and Westy

You should have seen dave spadaro, the eagles PR man. They pumped up booker soooo much in the offseason.

Great defensive quarter for Philly. 3 turnovers, 2 sacks and 0 first downs. Really recovered from some first half miscues. I like what I see this year, some real playmakers. Really setting up Akers repeatedly here. Hope he makes more than he misses tonight. 50-50 right now.

Agreed about LJ Smith being overrated but at least the other defenses have to worry a little about him.

When healthy, he seems to make the impossible grabs and drop the easy catches.
