Congrats, Seahawks fans!! Now if you could all throw some mojo the NY Giants way, it would be much appreciated!
Oh I'm a big Giants fan tomorrow. HUGE! GO GIANTS, or whatever you guys say. Seattle WILL BEAT the Saints. Book it.
Seattle will not be playing Seattle, they will be in Chicago as Philly is going to beat NYG.
 I would be shocked if Seattle played Seattle in the second round.
No they won't. It's actually impossible but I'd rather play the Saints than the Bears.
I think you've completely lost your mind after this game.

What position do you play?
:banned:

The rookie got too much pub, too much accolades to handle it. Parcells knew what was happening and tried to play it down. Romo could not handle it and the last few games and tonight showed it.

With those defensvie backs most QBs would have ripped them up, but there was not enough faith in Romo, the play calling showed that.

Now Seattle goes to the NFC championship, they will beat the Bears, because that defense is not as good at it was and Grossman will choke as well.
What rookie? Enlighten me please. Romo has been in the league for a few years now.

Just saw the Witten catch again - forward progress, ball was over the one yard line, but he was dragged back so that the ball was behind the one yard marker. Two bad calls that decided the game.
I can't believe FBG pays you a dime. You're terrible.
 Neither can I. Heck I'm ashamed to say I subscribe and thus help support his nonsense. But, the good news is, due to Levin's high whiny tool factor, I've found that even moderators can be put on ignore. Maybe a board system bug but a good bug.Actually never thought about trying that ignore for him before.

Meh, my buddies just wound the Tivo back to the Glenn catch and we watched it in super slow a bunch of times.

I'm wrong - it looked like it could be a catch.

Did the same with the Witten catch - he didn't come near the one. Call it "in-game over-emotion" for me.

Looking back through here, it looks like some of you have some of that going on, too.

Owens did not come up big in this game at all - not even remotely on a team missing three players from their secondary.

Wanted Dallas to win, but Seattle earned it by not giving on a series of events that one would have bet the house for Dallas to win.

NFC still looks weak as we get closer to SB.

I could have sworn I read this somewhere before.
strange cause I was thinking the same thing :tinfoilhat:

Looks like a long night of drinking for me. It's the first decent game DAL played lately and they choke at the buzzer. I'm a bit fuzzy right now. :suds: :tinfoilhat: , bottoms up!

Somewhere Vandy is laughing...

Would he have attempted a better block on Babineaux than what Gramatica did? Probably not.

And how is next week the NFC championship game? I'm sure the Saints and the winner of Phi/NY would like to protest that as well.

In defense, it appears he did not get tot he one, but I did not think evidence was conclusive to overturn the call and apparently the announcers did not either.I could not believe the call was overturned.

Shhhh...if you wait 5 minutes he'll post it again.

No way. You can debate the Glenn catch, but the Witten and Romo spots were correct.
Agreed. Romo was way short. Witten was just short. Not sure about Glenn's catch fumble safety, but you know what? Dallas had every opportunity to win anyway, so who cares?

I'd used in the venacular as a fan; didn't use "we" or "us" so I'm clear.I play TE if you're interested.

Well excuse mr. precise, he has been in the league since 2003, but had not taken any real season snaps until this year---whatever Dallas fan, do not be too bitter

well good game. amazing string of events. cowboys made some plays, didn't make others, then screwed up others. all in all, glad to see they went out playing hard rather than looking beaten and lost.

kudos to bobby carpenter, looks like a good 1st round pick.

Saints are very young and have no experience. As a fan, I think the Seahawks can beat the Saints and likely will if they get the chance. Go Giants!

Where does it say next week is the NFC championship?

If Owens was this contrite all the time, he would be considered one of the best players to ever have played the game, and would be earning close to twice as much money. His career in all ways would be that much better.

Is it just me, or does it seem like somebody changed TO's medication? He actually handled his post-game presser quite well.

This is the backpedal we were ALL waiting for.

There are too many assumptions from here to two weeks from now to assume it's going to be Seattle at Chicago. So I guess I thought the "now" part meant, well, now. As in the next game. Next time I will assume "now" means some undetermined point in the future.

Good call. :bye:

Some of these questions and reporters are just plain brutal. Romo's beside himself with grief and guys are asking him if he's the right guy for the job, has he ever felt worse. Really obvious, redundant and unnecessarily harsh. I give a lot of respect to TO and Romo and others for having to deal with these blood suckers. ####### brutal

I thought the timing was decent and the execution flawless.

The response by the NFL Network guys were priceless with TO. It was the same way you treat a dog who finally takes a piss in the yard instead of the carpet which he usually does. I was wating for Deion to say "good boy thats a good boy" :goodposting:

Romo looks like he's gonna :goodposting:  Maybe Carrie will sing him a song!!!!
LOL. He shouldn't feel too bad. The person who should feel bad is Roy Williams. That guy can't cover a TE. So he got 14 points scored on him. He needs to be released. He is OVERRATED and shouldn't be considered as a top tier Safety.
