Billick's very underrated right now, IMO. Ray Lewis has somewhat fallen off the radar too. It'll be interesting to see the articles this weekIndy typically matches up well with Baltimore though. Indy has won their last 3 vs. Baltimore although none were with McNair at QB. Baltimore is not an explosive running team so the Indy D is not as exposed against them. Baltimore is generally about pressure but Indy protects very well. Manning has had very good games against Baltimore. Should be a good matchup. The level of competition goes up next week.NE can step up, but I don't know about Indy vs. Baltimore. Two 10+ wins by the home teams would not surprise me at all.I could see any of the 4 AFC teams left making it to the Super Bowl. It will be a good weekend of football next week.AFC next week matchups are going to be super nice...

I believe Drew Brees QBed that SD team. Its amazing how these teams change personnel year to year isnt it.San Diego 41New England 17Oh wait, that was last year's result... in Foxboro... when SD only won 9 games and wasn't good enough to get into the playoffs. My bad.
True. Oh and it wasn't the playoffs.I believe Drew Brees QBed that SD team. Its amazing how these teams change personnel year to year isnt it.San Diego 41
New England 17

Both home teams are $$ then.I would say that I believe Indy is a better 4.5 point underdog than NE. I am surprised the point spreads are the same.
Yeah, that Pro-Bowler Philip Rivers is a bit of a scrub. I hope his 62% completion percentage and 22:9 TD/INT ratio doesn't hurt them too badly.I believe Drew Brees QBed that SD team. Funny how Brady got snubbed in the Pro Bowl and gets to now face the guy who benifited from the snub.Yeah, that Pro-Bowler Philip Rivers is a bit of a scrub. That is an interesting dynamic. Their stats were very close. Rivers QBed a 14-2 team and Brady is a perrenial Pro Bowler. Obviously, I think when it is a toss up like that, the established player should get the benefit of the doubt. But thats just me. Philip Rivers is a 1 time Pro Bowler. We'll see if he plays like one next week. The thing is that if Rivers doesnt play like a Pro Bowler, SD can still win. If Brady doesnt play like a Pro Bowler, the Pats are most likely dead.Funny how Brady got snubbed in the Pro Bowl and gets to now face the guy who benifited from the snub.Yeah, that Pro-Bowler Philip Rivers is a bit of a scrub. Established player or not, I would definitely give Brady the nod. He's a serious stud.If the entire game came down to that comparison, I would bet on New England. That is an interesting dynamic. Brees was 2nd in the MVP voting this year. I think Rivers is a serious drop off from Brees at this point.Established player or not, I would definitely give Brady the nod. My point was that Rivers really isn't much of a drop-off from Brees.
Neither Brees nor Rivers are playoff tested. Its presumptious to say that one or the other is better at this point. They both helped get their teams in the playoffs and we will see next week how they respond.Brees was 2nd in the MVP voting this year. I think Rivers is a serious drop off from Brees at this point.
You win a box of nail clippings.Relief?whoai went to the bathroomwhat happened?????
agreed. it doesnt take a big man to hug after a win. If they had lost, BB would have been a #### againI love how they are making it sound like Belichek was the bigger man for giving a hug. The guy gave a hug cause they just fricken won and was heppy. You would have seen as Bill give another icy handshake if the Jets woudl have won.
Why did I bump this thread?Well, if you saw NFL Matchup today, you saw that this route combo is two patterns that Samuel regularly jumps. Some teams call it the "TOG" combo, (not sure what the "T" was, maybe a 10-yard out, but the "OG" was Outside and Go).Samuel covers this by releasing off of the outside "go" man and letting 2-deep safety coverage take over while he jumps the out for a potential INT.Film study - underrated. The coverage scheme on Samuel's INT was VERY well disguised.#30 was coming to cover over the top as AS checked down. No way to know that unless you saw film on it.
