Game Thread: Redskins at Saints (1 Viewer)

Rookie starting RB, rookie starting QB, rookie backup QB --- these aren't George Allen's Redskins. Expect a lot of blitzes. Alfred Morris looks like he's about to pee himself.

Good luck to Saints fans. I hope the Skins can stay within 20 of the Saints.

All passes attempted by Griffin have been short screen-type passes so far.

He looks very poised, though, apart from the fumbles.

11 play drive leads to a Skins FG. No long passes, a few runs, lots of short quick passes out wide. Skins trying to monopolize the clock as much as they can. 7 and 1/2 minute drive.

Smart play-calling by the Skins. I doubt RG would ever be nervous, but Shanahan called plays that he could make with minimal risk.

double coverage (and pretty good double coverage) and brees still throws it to graham and graham still goes up and gets it. not sure how those 2 can be stopped if they are going to play like that.

Graham is amazing. Goes up between 2 Redskins defenders, each of whom gets a hand on the ball, but he hangs on for a TD.

The Saints better keep their offense on the field a long time, with lots of runs, to try to slow down this Redskin offensive juggernaut.

Wow. Nice. That play reminds me of the Shannon Sharpe catch against the Raiders during the Ravens' SB run.

Is it me, or does Garcon look like a TE these days? I don't recall him looking that big.

was thinking the same thing - he looks pumped up - but he doesnt run like a typical TE!

Morris just isn't very good. The whole "he always falls forward thing" is nice, but it's the best thing they can say about him.
