Game Thread - TEN @ JAX (1 Viewer)

What is with the Jax rushing game? Are Taylor/MJD & Co. playing that badly ... or is TEN just keying on the rush or what?

 
I just a replay of LenDale's attempt to run it in and then he fumbles. He looked slow and I thought the fat jokes were old, but he looks big. And not in a good way.

 
I'm worried about how this game has played out thus far. I'm concerned about how well the Titans are running the ball. The Jags D has been on the field alot so far.

The Jags O-line looks horrible as well.

You could have a point. TN has couple O linemen to work in, keep pounding with Henry and Brown.TN has completely controlled the game...except for the long pass play.
 
Finally Bulluck on the board.. don't think I've ever seen him go that long without registering a stat.

Picked him up as the last pick of the draft, that would be a sweet way to maximize that pick!!!!!!!!!!!! Or maybe I just keep him and run him in beside LT all year long!!!
 
Can't believe Chrissy is pulling it off! Being a Lendale fan and owner...but I do like Brown as well so I can't be all that upset. We'll see how this all shakes out in a few weeks from now.

 
The score doesn't show it, but the Titans whipped the Jaguars asses today.

It looks like the Titans are going to be a better team than I thought.

 
Jeff Fisher had his team prepared today, regrettably JDC can't say the same. I'll focus my comments on Jags as I am a :thumbdown:

Jags Off: I thought Garrard did well and got is reads rightr and his pass protection was ok. However, the Jag WRs dropped a lot of balls, and I would have liked to have seen Broussard get targeted a few more times, Matt Jones was INVISIBLE. I don't know if it was Run blocking or Freddy and MJD not getting through a stout Titan Def but 48 yards between those two is pathetic.

Jags Def: Chris freakin Brown ran for 175 and the Titans netted 282 on the ground. Enough said. The D-line was completely overmatched all day. Mirror check-time. Top 3 Defense was in 2006.

Jags Special teams: Even as a homer if Scobee is healthy he kicks two FGs they did not attempt today and I believe the Jags win this game.

For JDC's mantra of "Consistency" this is deja vu all over again.

Thank goodness we play Harrington next week.

Fisher is a genius though. The run game should continue like this. Pound LenDale early and then start gashing them with Brown.
