Jason Ferguson out for the year. Just announced on local Dallas radio. This is a big loss to their DL, as he's a solid run stopper. As if their defense didn't suck enough.

Ugh.

This is horrible news. Ellis, Newman, Ferguson, Burnett....building quite a defense on the IR.

If Dallas finds a DEF they could be dominant. However that is a BIG if right now.

Does the Dallas defense blow or what? I thought they would be really good. They suck. I loved all this talk about how much better the Cowboys would be with Wade Phillips in place of Parcells. I thought the D would be more aggressive. They just really stink.

I agree, I was not impressed with the Dallas defense at all. I think the corners are way to small, Roy Williams can't cover......on running plays, they get no up field penetration.Now, at some points Dallas was up double digit points and I felt they were playing soft at times on purpose, although I don't agree with it. But as much as I'm happy Romo looked good and Witten had a good game, I am so disappointed in their D.You can't beat the good teams like that. You need to stop people. To me, the defense still is weak. Could be a lot of shootouts.

Yeah baby. Sounds like finally someone is realizing Barber is the better back! I mean really, he average just short of a full two ypc better than JJ last night. Don't the Cowboys have to see what they really have in Barber as a starter before they go and package for McFadden after this year? They definitely know what JJ is, so the time has come to change.

Madden usually kills me with his rambling and saying nothing during games, but last night he was right on with his observation that the offense was not moving as well with JJ in as compared to MBIII.
