Regression to the mean...the Giants aren't as good as people have been hyping and the Vikes aren't quite as bad.

The Eagles spin machine is in full effect I see.

Eagles hype machine? LOL...my comments have nothing to do with the Eagles. Whether the Giants are overrated or not has no bearing on the fact the Eagles are in a world of hurt and GROSSLY underachieving expectations. Good teams let their records take care of themselves and as of today the Eagles are in last place.

My comment holds true...the Giants are a good, not great, young team. They're not good enough to legitimately be considered the best team in the NFC or a Super Bowl contender (and PLENTY of objective Giants fans agree with me) and so losing a game like this shouldn't be shocking.

I agree. The Giants obviously shot themselves in the foot on special teams but they still should have won. Unfortunately the young QB lkilled them today. It seems like Eli decides where he's throwing before he takes the snap. He forces way too many balls into coverage, particularly to Burress. If he ever learns to check down, he'll be much more effective.

@ the Giants players talking after the game about how they were the better team and shouldn't have lost. Well, guess what? YOU DID. And someone should tell them that special teams and turnovers are a big part of the game.
