Game Thread W10 - NYGiants V Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

statement drive by philly. i want to know where the andy reid haters went. LOVE the fade to baskett!
Not a Reid hater, just want better playcalling and wouldn't you know it, he calls a balanced drive and scores a freakin TD.
I think if you look at it impartially, Reid is usually solid in this area. I'll agree that from time to time he gets too predictable, but too much is made out of the run/pass ratio.

Will be the second timeout. only one left for the last 20 minutes of a tight game. And Reid is the bad clock manager :tongue in cheek:

:football:

stupid rule...heel on the line, ball a yard ahead of it.....rule needs to be changed to be consistant with the rest of football. the BALL shuld be the determining factor, just like on TD's, first downs, and everything else in the game.

Didn't it look like the red line was about a half yard short of the line of scrimmage anyway? I'm not on my DVR but it seemed like the orange marker at the top of the field made this a much easier call to overturn?

Challenge that? Looked pretty clear ELI was past the line.

thanks, captain hindsight!

If you look at the replay on the LoS penalty, you will see that the TV red line was about a foot behind the official LoS marker on the sideline.... it wasn't even close, both of Manning's feet were behind the LoS on that pass. The refs don't see that red line, which in this case, was inaccuate... a good challnge, and correctly over ruled.

Some bad penalties/calls there, sure, but HAVE to hold the NYG to 3 here. Have to. If they go down 10 I do not think they get back in front.
