Game Thread W10 - San Diego V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

5 touches for one of the best players in football should cost Shotty his job not just this game!
Best player or not, they are down by 21, cut down early by a penalty and are forced to throw because they are stacking the box. There's little LT can do today.

Yeah, I'm quoting myself. It is reassuring to know that Schottenheimer knows LT is still on the field even when down 21-0. It looked for a while that Marty was going to let Rivers go wild.

WTF is with all the pass attempts to Neal? If you're gonna pass to RBs at least make it LT, no?
I haven't seen the game. However, from the sounds of it, they were zeroing in on LT pretty hard in the beginning. I'm sure that left Neal wide open making him a prime target.

Wonder what the Gates apologists will say this week to explain his awful stats? The team was down by 21 points early and still won't throw it to him. :lmao: :bye:

Wild throw by Palmer as he was about to get taken down - held onto the ball way too long and TJ got open. Completes for 22 yards. 1st down on the SD 18 with 0:34 left in the half

Nice answer by the Bengals before the end of the half.

TD Palmer to Henry

Looks like it's going to be 28-7 Bengals at the half

There is our boy Henry. Nice of you to make an appearance during one of the most prolific Bengal passing days in history. Nice TD though.

Very interesting observation: in most games, Chad goes into the locker room before halftime to get hydrated, etc. He actually stayed with the team the whole time this game. I wonder if Marvin said something during the week or what. All I know is that these are the Bengals I was hoping to see all year long.

Palmer with almost 300 in the first half????
Yep, Carson looks to be quite confident in the pocket; waiting till the last second to throw, and really having alot of velocity on his throws as well...I think he's gonna be in line for a huge second half (season)
The fact that his receivers are WIDE open is helping. There is a good two yards of separation on damn near every completion.

Defensive stand for the Chargers....is momentum shifting?

edit: one play TD to floyd. Yes, yes it is
