Game Thread W11 - Green Bay V Minnesota (1 Viewer)

Wow AP FINALLY gets a carry and takes it for 15, big surprise. You're an idiot Childress.

ETA. Then proceed to throw the next 3 times and Favre fumbles.

I am kind of surprised by the blind allegiance it seems some Vikings fans have with Favre. He at least won a Super Bowl for the Packers. They are chanting "fire Childress". Yet Favre keeps overthrowing wide open wr's.

Favre is playing horrible and deserves to get benched, and I do agree that Chilly is the easy scapegoat, but the guy is making some terrible decisions.

Don't get me wrong, I don't Chilly is going to find himself in the hall of fame anytime soon. Like I said, with the coaching situation, the age of some of the players on the team and the free agents they have, it is going to be really interesting to see what the Vikings look like next year.

You haven't followed the Vikings for the past 4 years have you?

Why does that surprise you? Childress was the driving force behind bringing Favre to Minnesota. Favre got him an extention last year and now Favre is getting him fired this year. The coach is ultimately responsible for the product on the field. Why would the fans boo Favre? He can simply retire.

:goodposting: Childress made the decision to bring Favre Back. Childress makes the decisions to have Peterson on the sideline on 3rd and 4th downs. In short, Childress is a donkey and deserves every thing being slung at him. If this is what it takes to wave :lmao: :D to him then I'm fine with the Vikings getting their butts handed to them today.

Riight all along it was Brett's idea to have his buddies come down to Mississippi and bring him to MN. Bottom line is Brett is the guy Childress jumped through hoops for and he is where the buck stops for allowing Brett to stay on the field. The final four rule really screwed our depth in so many areas and then so much regression it's amazing.I never thought that I would see this team lay down at home the way they are. That game was like punching myself in the junk for three hours.

This year I don't think that's true. ast year I agree but this year I thought he was really leaning toward retirement after the ankle surgery. Whoever let McNabb sign with Washington is the one who really screwed up in my opinion.

They put all their eggs in the Favre basket. They didn't even drfat a real QB and didn't go after anyone in free agency because they were waiting for Brett. He always decides if he's coming back after FA and the draft.

The GM or someone should have planned long term beter unless they actually believe Tavaris is the man.

McNabb could have been a good fit on that team.

So how could the Vikings have signed McNabb?

Sad I missed this one to attend the Titans/Redskins game today...but free childcare with my family in town so had to take the chance to go to a game this year with my wife.

Caught several of the highlight packages though...very nice.

So I guess all that revenge #4 got last year he gave right away this year.
