Game Thread W12 - New England V Philly (1 Viewer)

OK, as I wrote before, all the Eagles have to do is keep scoring everytime the Patriots score. They did last time; why not again?

Is Maroney even active for this game? I didn't see an actual list of who's in and who's out. Just curious??

Maroney is active right? I have bets that he wont get over 70 yards rushing or score a TD, but he needs to at least be in on a play

Question:Forget his career. At the level that Tom Brady is playing at RIGHT NOW, is there a single QB in history you would start over him? I can't think of one. Not Montana at his best in 89, not Warner in 2000, nobody. This is the best QB play EVER in the history of professional football.
I'll update my blog.

I feel a half-time tongue lashing for the Pats DT is forthcoming.... Tackling, coverage....both lacking at the moment.

Im not impressed by the NE D so far. Other than one bad throw Freely has looked very good.

Id love to see a GB vs NE SB

He just showed off his 42" vertical when congratulating Evans on the sideline.Maroney is fully suited up and READY TO KICK SOME ###!! WOO-FREAKIN-HOO!!
question for anyone who bets on player props, when it says "must play". What constitutes "playing"? Carrying the ball, being in on a play, or just being an activated player??

Maroney is the starting tailback for the Patriots. Since they passed on every down except one run by Brady and a goal line plunge by Evans, this hasn't meant much, at least so far.

what i want to see tonight (in order of preference)

1) Eagles win

2) Eagles playing close to the end

3) Hitting Brady so hard all night he begins to think Giselle looks like Tara Reid

4) No TD passes by Brady

5) No TD catches by Moss

6) A good game out of AJ so we can usher McNabb out of town (and have a Kolb/AJ QB controversy next year!!)

7) A good game by AJ so we can trade him for a second rounder again

8) A pulse from Kearse

9) A big hit by Dawk on Moss

10) keeping vrabel and the other defensive players out of the endzone

11) westbrook return a punt and take it to the house

hmmm, I think maybe taking NE-22 was pushing it in my pickum' league.

The only reason I would say Manning is his ability to call plays at the line of scrimmage. There are times in watching Colts games that I get the impression that Manning doesn't even really need an offensive coordinator. That said, I think Brady is a more clutch QB, more focused, and more talented. I just think that you see very few QBs that would make good coordinators/coaches, Peyton Manning could be a very good coach if he wanted to be.

It is mind boggling that Belicheck continues to choose Heath Evans over Maroney.
The Jets' head coach has Maroney on his fantasy team; Bellichick just wants to #### him.

no we're just sick of mcnabb.. he isnt the answer... not mentally tough, breaks down often, and may not regain his legs.. garcia proved it last year and now feeley is doing the same... mcnabb is the problem...

Id take Manning over Brady...say what you want about Brady winning the big games, but just remember Manning played on a Colts team that basically had NO D for 6-7 years

Cal State Bakersfield in the house.
What the hell does Moss say? I can never understand it. Black English.
I thought he said "Rand college"?Who knows?
He says...."Rand, West Virginia"
I wouldn't have made out the "west virginia" part, sounded more like rand university to me. He was born in Rand, WV though. This game looks like its gonna be fun to watch!

thoughts?

I can't remember the last time an offense has had two consecutive long TD drives on the Patriots. Has it happened this year?
