Willie Parker needs to hit the bench. He's trying to give this game away! Another fuumble that luckily goes out of bounds. Time for Bus/Duce.
Staley going in....FWP can't be trusted the rest of the game. DoneWillie Parker needs to hit the bench. He's trying to give this game away! Another fuumble that luckily goes out of bounds. Time for Bus/Duce.

Exactly. Weren't the Bengals supposed to be the team done in by big game jitters? The Steelers are off their game. And Staley fumbles.Staley going in....FWP can't be trusted the rest of the game. Class man, class. Man is this exciting. I was ready to talk a bunch of trash, but will refrain in response to this post.I lost my voice watching that game. That's game.
Congrats to the Bengals...they deserve this one.
Well, as hard as it is to admit right now...*If* the Steelers don't make it I want Cinci to roll in the playoffs. It's not like they're the Clowns or the Ratbirds....and I'm a Marvin Lewis fan. You guys have a solid team this year.Class man, class. Man is this exciting. No, I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but I believe the rule is that even with the penalty declined the clock is stopped....A flag will stop the clock whether it's accpeted or declined. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.Someone explain this to me. When Cinci had the ball 3rd and 13 with 2:43 to play, Palmer hit Perry in the middle of the field for 7 yards. There was a holding penalty called but Pitt declined it forcing Cinci to punt. The clock did not start running until Cinci snapped the ball on the punt. Shouldn't the clock have started running as soon as the ref set the ball and "wound the clock" since the holding penalty was declined?
If so, the Ravens have the biggest rebuilding job of them all. I can foresee them flailing behind Cincy for several years to come. The black and blue division moniker is going bye-bye. The AFC North will start building teams that can light it up on O, and defend the homerun ball.
WHO DEY again!Just had to chime in with a Who Dey!
I guess this explains it:http://www.nfl.com/news/rulesdigest.htmlSomeone explain this to me. With the exception of the last two minutes of the first half and the last five minutes of the second half, the game clock will be restarted following a kickoff return, a player going out of bounds on a play from scrimmage, or after declined penalties when appropriate on the referee's signal.
Fouls that occur in the last five minutes of the fourth quarter as well as the last two minutes of the first half will result in the clock starting on the snap
