It's ugly, that's for sure. Those 9 points would be HUGE in a game like this.Vandy, get on a plane to Oakland.
They don't even seem to be looking his way. The checkdowns have been to the RB's. It's not even like he's being kept in to pass block, because the front five are doing a pretty good job on their own.So, did Owen Daniels sleep with Kubiak's wife? I checked the play-by-play and he has one special teams tackle, and NOTHING ELSE???
No playing for better draft position. Texans playing for Peterson, OAK for Quinn or C. Johnson.Kris Brown returns the favor and pushes a FG of his own.Doesn't anybody want to win this game?
Thanks. So he's on the field, at least. All I see in the box score is Putzier. I guess with Carr's stat line, I wouldn't be getting much out of him anyway. They don't even seem to be looking his way. Dayne's been running like a beast, but yeah, you have to mix it up a littleCarr has attempted like two passes in the 2nd half? What is going on? This isn't even a fantasy football related question. TIA.
Oh I hope you are not right with that and just think if they had picked the "popular" pick in Vince Young they wouldn't have had to resign Carr and would have a great QB going forward.Carr is such a bust. Nice meaningless garbage time stats but it's clear he isn't a leader.Watched the rest of the game while having a nice 5 taco dinner.
Kubiak went VERY conservative in the second half. Ran the ball a ton, and had some success with Dayne (who ran with a lot of passion). All of the formations for the Texans were tight, and seemed designed for short yardage.
As for AJ, he was blocking very well, if that's any consolation.
The blowup that Kubiak had with Carr was very telling to me. It seems like he's lost confidence in Carr, and I don't know if a Plummer led Texans in 07 seems that farfetched.
