it's high time LT manned up and had a big day against someone OTHER than the raiders!! but then again, turner and the truly awful rivers are killing him.

LT is struggling because the offensive line is weak and Rivers is a terrible QB. That makes it easy for any defense to hone in on LT and keep him in check.

I have to agree. That was clearly a time when you need to use LT most. That, or give the ball to Neal.

It really isn't worth trying to figure out what's goin on with the Chargers this year.

I'll give it a shot. 7-5, with a 2 game lead in the AFC West, with 4 to go. Losses at NE, at GB, at Minn, and at Jax don't look very bad right now. Only the home loss to the Chiefs was really a "bad" loss.Perhaps the Bolts are going to peak late this season, as opposed to last year where they peaked too early.

It's possible but Rivers still looks awful. Until he can complete a few 3rd downs in a row and keep a drive alive I'm not real hopeful.

ANy input on what happened to gates yesterday? I understand Rivers is weak but he completed some passes yday. HOw did gates manage -1 yards? Did he definetly play the whole game?

He played and was covered well. It's one of the few things KC's defense did well, and the only thing in the second half. Plus, San Diego WRs were having success down the field and LT was running well. No real need to force balls to Gates when he's got a man tight on him.

He'll be back to 10 targets, 7 rec., 100 yards and a score next week, I'm sure.

But the Chargers are doomed this season and it's all AJ/Rivers fault!?BTW... SD owns the tie breaker with DEN(because they beat them 41-3 in DEN earlier in the year) and has a better div/conf record so it's more like a three game lead with four games left.
