Game Thread W14 - Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans (1 Viewer)

you never go for 2 when you are down 9, because if you don't make it, it's now a 2 possession game.
It's a two-possession game whether you miss it now or miss it later. The only difference is that if you miss it now, you know it's a two-possession game. That knowledge may come in handy.
i dont get your knowledge, now they still have a fighting chance of tying game. If the missed 2 before they know they are done.
The have a fighting chance of tying the game only if they're going to make the two-point conversion. But if they're going to make the two-point conversion, what's the harm in making it now instead of later?

There's a very long thread on this, but why do you think they would miss it earlier, but make it later?
If they miss the first one, it's game over

If they miss the second one, it's really game over.

You know, the 2 point conversion thing is kind of like a football version of Schrodinger's cat.

WOW! GREAT play by both Schaub and Johnson. Unreal.

Harbaugh's an idiot for not calling a timeout to give his defense a rest.

Great comeback by the Texans.

wow i'm almost disappointed i had a bye week in the playoffs, schaub is lighting it up.....dont know why the texans cant even play half this good in the 1st half of games.

This game is as good as the Vikings-Giants game was bad, and that's saying a LOT. Two amazing drives and the last two catches were just flat out sick.

I think the Ravens should have gone for it there. If they make it, the game is over. If they miss it, it's the same as a punt except for about a 35-yard difference, but that's not a huge deal.
Plus if they don't convert and then concede a TD and 2 pointer, they now have probably around 50 seconds on the clock rather than 21 - enough time with 2 TOs to drive for a game winning FG.

Wow ............if Bal Def has to go back out there - they are screwed................they are soooo gassed

How do you give up back to back drives of 99 and 95 yards in the 4th quarter?
