Game Thread W14 - Green Bay V Chicago (1 Viewer)

Crosby has 8 (edit - this year) misses. Any bets on if the Pack bring in another kicker next year?

I hate it when coaches call time outs after a questionable play instead of challenging. Why not just challenge?! You lose a timeout either way even if you lose.

Lovie, what in the wide, wide world of sports are you doing?
How is it that NFL head coaches and staffs have such a hard time managing replays? I'm no coaching genius, but I think I get 80-90% of the calls right relative to the replay decision, based on my opinion when the replay is first shown. How come NFL teams have such a hard time figuring things out, when all they need is a guy with a DVR in a lux suite and a reasonable eye?!

The Bears have just about ensured they will have a non-winning season for the 10th time in the last 14 years. So it's not like you shouldn't be used to the results of this game

good to see homerism is alive and well here.

The refs obviously determined that when the right foot was down he was still securing the ball, then the left hit and when the right foot was hitting again the ball was knocked out before the whole foot was on the ground.

I can honestly say that this is one of the only areas that the NFL seems to be very consistent with the way the calls go. Every week I see lots of groaning over a call almost identical to this.

Who cares anyway, the bears are terrible.

and woodson is a stud.
Homerismapparently the definition is the ability to see. Guilty as charged. I am a :cough: Rams :cough: fan. However stuck watching this travesty due to the local market.

Blown call, plain and simple. No homerism involved.
 Anyone who says anything different is just trying to be a bad fisherman. It really was a terrible call.

Packers didn't exactly look like champs today. Bears had 13 penalties including that ridiculous facemask that pushed us back. Not to mention Lovie throwing away 2 timeouts.

Bears cont to be last in the league in rushing and losing ground, and 3rd in int's behind Tampa and Cleveland. Keep up the good work, guys.

Any road win against a division rival is a good win. That's what I'm telling myself this morning.

With a win and no significan injuries I feel the Packers accomplished their two main goals.

Next year? How about THIS week? They need to bring someone in THIS week to challenge him and hopefully cut his ### this week.
Kevin Stempke is available, right?
Stemke is a punter. I am guessing you are thinking of Mehlhaff. Regardless I agree that these missed FG's can not continue as they will surely cost the Packers against better teams.
